I just downloaded the Google app thing from the iTunes store and the app doesn't look anything like it does on this video. There's no voice recognition or anything.

I wonder when this is going to be fixed? I would love to see this thing work. This is why I'd buy an iPhone and no other phone. I didn't buy the iPhone for it could do... I bought it for what it could do "in the future."

Automatically suggesting keywords for searching is a great function,

but what if I use a stored-value card?

Can I turn that off?

Man... then they will start tracking your conversations and pulling data from that to decide what advertisements to serve you... what they are going to discover though, is that the effectiveness of targeted ads eventually starts to plateau with the more data you gather on an individual. Even more importantly, Google can mine as many keywords as they want, but without being able to understand sentences, they are still only touching the tip of the iceberg. The problems of the semantic web.
