GTA:SA Dog Fighting

How come the flares (Chaf) only work sometimes? I can press the button over and over again but the flares only come out when they feel like it.

lol i got bored too, and went dogfighting. the only difference was that i was flying in a rustler. downed 4 planes in 3 minutes :P

You never use chaff, try using it and then you won't get hit. Also, the helicopters are sitting ducks so I never try to hit them because they're too easy.

you know, you can easily crash on an enemy hydra while dog fighting if you want. it's pretty fun. but nice vid!

just fly over area 69

just make sure you are really close to area 69. 50-100 feet above area 69 should do it.

I shot down a Hydra in a hunter, I had a four star wanted level, but I downed it with the guns and used the missiles in ground attack.

u should allways look in back of u so u know if there shooting the missils so u can dodge them by taking hard turns i do it all the time

cool harrier but f22 is the best jet in us military today,why even include harrier in gta it cant even fly right, lol its boring they should have included couple of jets in gta including f22 raptor gta dog fights are not that fun,but its still ok its a good thing taht gta IV for ps3 doesnt have any planes one less thing to worry about including plane missions

I dont really want to show my overwhelming knowleage of war but, the tech term of dog fighting is only ment when ur using Guns/buleets, instead of missles. dogfights are commmon anymore only really when the plan is out of missles dog fights are seen

Your almost right. The meaning of dog fights is a fight between two or more fighter planes usually at close quarters. So technically that AV-8 Harrier is a modern day fighter jet. In the game atleast its a dog fight. He should of used the P-51 Mustang. I belive they got that plane in the game correct?

yeah pc version. u need change the direction of the thrusters from pointing downwards to point backwards. dunno what button it is on the keyboard cause i use a pad

i think you use numpad 8 to change the thrusters foward and numpad 2 to have the thrusters point vertically down (hover)

If you have Xbox Or Ps2 all you have to do is move the right joystick forward that way it goes fast. trust me it works im always recrating 9/11 and dog fighting

(On the PS2 version) You just press forward with the right analog stick, if that doesn't help, press R3 to fold up your landing gear.
