Aluminum coffee cups are good, if they are 100% air-tight, and it's also a good idea to dry to completely after you store them. If they are wet they can grow mold, so store them as dry as possible. If the container is air-tight, ur stash will stay good about 2-3 years.

Well, if you only got few grams, you can keep it in plastic bag about a week (if you know ur gonna smoke it soon). But if your gonna store weed longer than that, use aluminum, tin or glass jars/cups/containers. I wouldn't wrap it in plastic because it's useless if your container (cup, jar, etc) is very air-tight. Also, some people say plastic bags might make it taste like shit. But for a little time it shouldn't harm ur stash.
