@xvnrl he also had mental problem at the time that why when he quit foot ball forever he went to see a doctor to help him and in december 20 2010hr came back to football
HAHAHA! He got too cocky. He should have checked where the ball went instead of showing off. That wasn't entirely bad luck it was partly his fault too.
In a shoot-out something needs to indicate when the kick is finished and over. One of those is when the ball ceases to travel in a forward direction. The ref called it wrong.
In fact France going out on penalties is 86' world cup I think had the ball come off the post, hit their 'keeper's head and go in. Goal allowed.
The goal shouldn't have count because the goalie saved it and pushed the ball FORWARD!
In a penalty competition if the ball bounces off the bar/ post/ goalie away from goal, there's no more possibility to score, even if the ball moves like in this video
@xperte85 Blatantly false. did you look anything up before you posted that comment? Once the ball has been kicked, in a penalty KICK, the ball is live and normal play resumes. So this goal stands. If this were a penalty SHOOT OUT, then the ball would be "dead" because it was deflected forward by the keeper.
@JayLaMarr7 u idiot it is a penalty shoot out because no one ran at the ball everyone stands outside the box till he kicks the ball then everyone runs in incase theres a deflection so theres no way this was a regular penalty kick
"If this were a penalty SHOOT OUT, then the ball would be "dead" because it was deflected forward by the keeper"
EXACTLY WHAT I MEANT, GUY
It's obvious that this is a penalty shoot out, because the forward didn't try another shot! This goal shouldn't have count.
Btw: I am not that kind of person who has to look up s.th. like that in Wikipedia or somewhere else. There are many other dumbasses who have no idea of anything, but who look up s.th. in Wiki and think they know
No, dude. Just because the ball touched the keepers hand and was deflected forward (or any other direction) doesn't make it a dead ball. According to FIFA rules (Laws 2 and 9), a ball is only dead either from falling outside the playing boundary or by referee stoppage. Even a handball, technically, is a live ball. It is only dead cause the ref calls it so after spotting the foul. The ref never blew the whistle 'cause he saw the ball still rolling forward. Great call on his part.
fucking stupidity, he didnt even look at it when it hit his legs. it could of gone straight in off his legs and he still would of celebrated. nothing unlucky about a complete tool.
something like this happened to our team in a pk shootout. The ball hit off the crossbar and into our keeper's back then into the net. The referees ruled that the goal did not count because the forward momentum of the ball was stopped. I wonder how this is different. i guess the ball came back on its own.
"Ooohhh, I'm so coool. Look at meeeee! Look at meeeee! I stopped the penalty with my wonderful body! Who's your daddy? Who's your.... WTF!!!?!?!?!?!?!"
hahahahahahahaha
Well deserved for being such an arrogant fool. :-P
Actually, "real professionals" in a SPORT would not ALWAYS keep their head in the game. For example a touchdown in American football, they always celebrate. A home run in baseball - celebration. Goal in football/soccer - celebration. 3 point shot or 100% free throws in basketball - celebration. Goal in hockey - celebration. Hole in one in golf - celebration. Think of any other sport, and there is celebration involved in it all. Showboating is a form of celebration. Good try, sir.
@asidy7trs93 Showboating is not professional in any sport. It's degrading to the fans and the sport itself. All of those things you described are frowned upon except by the most low brow of sports fans.
@smokedope101 it's poor sportsmanship to make a show of how you feel about your performance. I guess sportsmanship is a depreciated value these days; but I stand by my comment that it's completely unprofessional.
@asidy7trs93 showboating is NOT a form of celebration... showboating is putting your own talents before those of the team as a whole and acting like an ass hole... a celebration usually involves more than one person... right? I mean other wise it would be a pretty bad celebration.
@boboblaster999 Celebrating is not always more than one person. If you score, and you pump your fist, aren't you celebrating with just yourself? Yeah your team may be celebrating and cheering.
he should have learned as a kid not to show off, he turn his back on the ball as it rolls into the net. i feel bad for him, but in a professional sport you have to stay focused all the time. good thing he learned from his mistake, actually he didnt.
