I think that she originally wanted to do a segment with Cookie Monster, but they wanted a little girl to do segment skits with Kermit. I also think she got upset enough to cry until Kermit sung the ABC's and saying Cookie Monster in the middle of it, to make her laugh. Not 100% certain on that, but I'll bet that was the case for the little girl. She also did a skit counting to 20 and another skit with Kermit.
