I think the Scripture spoken of was Rev 18:19, about those mourning who grew rich from her, and that richness being 'oil'. Not according to Scripture. Babylon is not applicable to just any and all religious systems. In Revelation, Mystery Babylon referred to Old Covenant Jerusalem which had become a harlot and was destroyed in AD70, shortly after John wrote (Rev. 1:1-3; 22:10).

Revelation was written about the things that had been, the things that were present, and the things about to happen. Rev 1:3 told John's audience that the events were near. Rev 22:10 again said the events were near. Revelation was about the imminent destruction of Old Covenant Israel which came in 70 AD. It was not about the USA.

The book of Daniel was to be sealed until the time of the end of the age. Jesus removed that seal in Mt 24:15. John was later told that the book of Revelation was not sealed because the time of end of the age was near. The Old Covenant age ended in AD 70 right on time.

The book of Daniel was to be sealed until the time of the end of the age. Jesus removed that seal in Mt 24:15. John was later told that the book of Revelation was not sealed because the time of end of the age was near. The Old Covenant age ended in AD 70 right on time.

How do you even know that Revelations had the correct ending? Is that what God/Elohim said? How do you know somebody didn't change it? Was Revelations about a monster that got slayed in the past Tiamat. If you notice the OT entity accuses Serpent of telling half truths but that isn't true.The OT entity badmouths those more powerful than him. The entire chapter is clearly symbolic: Many waters, 7 heads, a great whore, a scarlet beast and everything in the chapter is symbolic. I humbly submit that to say the city is a literal city or the 7 hills are 7 literal hills is out of character with the chapter IMO.
