Isn't this freakishly reminiscent of a (or any) Jeff Buckley interview?
''For me, for any musician who paly a guitar, or any musician who plays any instrument actually. After any length of time, for them to really get into hat they're doing It becomes a way of life- just like talking...''
Even the way, he looks at the person he's speaking to.. CHarming them and drawing them in with a squint of the eyes and a smile..
It's true. It's a shame Jeff Buckley was always lampooning Tim. I hope in the end he came to terms with everything and forgave Tim. Theirs really was a cruel fate.
@tearypeary there is some truth in this but there artistic sensabilities are very diffrent. they have a similar sense of freedom in the way that tim is articulating but what came out of them and what it sounded like are very diffrent.
I disagree. What came out of them was not as different as it was in different era. I think they were both very open to multiple genres of music and took a great liking in exploring them to great lengths (as can be seen in both their performances). Vocally, they both loved using all the facets of their voice; pushing limits . They both also had a way of doing things 'their way' and both stood up for their artistic opinion whether it was profitable or not.
@tearypeary@tearypeary It really is amazing how similar they were, despite the fact that they never had a real relationship, or even much contact with each other at all. The way they talk about their feelings on music and what it meant to them, their physical likeness and uncanny vocal similarities, down to the way they turn their head back and forth when speaking and the way they pause in the middle of sentences...

Wow! This is the first time I've seen any kind of interview with Tim. Thank you.
And his speaking voice is nothing like I expected it to be, because, like Jeff, he was very softly spoken. Where did you find this?
