@gdrugg206 This is not about opening your mind. It's about taste. These fussy metal tricks are always played like this is the thing to do when you try a guitar, but can we sometimes enjoy a clean sound with a sweet reverb or a short delay ESPECIALLY on a guitar like that ?
And your "probabilities" are wrong, I juste think that these kind of solos are awful and for wankers.
@bouchika Hey, the only reason we did this is because people complain that all our other Classic 6 demos are CLEAN. So before you start ranting, go look at the other demos.
@myrareguitars Hey, I don't say that you can't play something more crunchy, i'm not a stupid redneck that only like country or hillbilly (even if I love it) but this is waaaaaaay too much distorded ! Or play this, but also play other stuff so we can really see the potential of the guitar ! btw I love your channel, cheers from France !
FUCK YOU ! DO NOT PLAY THAT METAL SHIT ON A GUITAR LIKE THAT MAN ! Play something cool like country or good old rock n roll stuff but not this ! You fucked my ears man !
@bouchika You probably think SGs are only for rock, Teles are only for country, hollowbodies are for jazz and country, and Strats are only for Buddy Holly kind of rock n roll.
Open your damn mind, you'll be surprised by the sounds you'll get.
Sounds like shit. All you need for that to sound good is a cable, the guitar and the amp. Or for Gods sake put a TS-808 in front of it, not a Boss Metal Zone....
the sound cuts out before he plays... he must be playing through a direct line because my Classic 6 would never let me play that crunchy live without squealing. I own the orange model and put on a TV Jones and a nickle Bigsby B3.
the sound sucks...bigtime...you can judge this kinda guitar much better if you plug striaght into an tubeamp....if you're looking for a shredguitar by a jackson
i just got one of these, and its great, excellent value for the money, they sound great clean and overdriven. I just hate that they tape these vids with out of tune guitars. Why dont they just do it over if the guitar is out of tune? Cant they listen? My classic 6 stays in tune btw.
@goetschi3366 Exactly, that's why I'm really considering this one. It sounds incredible when clean, but can even pull off great metal distortion. Crazy versatility.
I don't think the high-gain setting makes any sense for this guitar. It's obviously inspired by Gretsch and similar hollow-bodied guitars, which are rarely if ever used for high-gain, extra-distorted sounds like that. People who want a guitar like that usually play the sort of music where you see this sort of guitar. Obviously, they would be most likely to play it clean. Somehow, I doubt many people are going to buy this guitar to play metal.

Sounds pretty good, didn't think you could get that type of sound out of a Classic 6.

The classic 6 goes 'Metal' - weird but it works!
