  • Everyone's jumping on the Tai Chi band wagon trying to make a quick ££££. Explain how the waist moves Chris Crudelli you know nothing about Tai Chi you

  • I'd love a 1:1 with Mr Chris!! ;-D he be lovely!

  • Chi energy makes you grow stupid facial hair

  • @buzzkill9999 Sucks to be you.

  • Supreme ultimate fist :D

  • Also, @pooponic you don't judge a martial art based on whether it is "rough" or not, whether training or sparring "looks" real, you have to experience and use it before you can make any judgement. :P Last comment, I promise :T

  • @ChibiZone

Or Counter sniper or even an IED to beat All opponents with NO comebacks! :-)

Krav Maga does not interest me but its obviously A much more comprehensive & widely used Combat system employed worldwide by Law Enforcement & Military.

POINT: Governments obviously care what Malita learn thats why ABC does not qualify.

    Care & Realize that!

As someone who regularly gets to use multiple combat system knowledge & experience in my line of work

my judgement originates from that fact.

    Enjoy

  • @pooponic by multiple combat, I'll assume you use jiujitsu, boxing, and what MMA fighters use. I'll say this again, if you think it works best for you, it will work for you. Everyone has different ways of fighting-either close up grappling type, medium distance boxing type, or longer distance kicking type. If you feel Krav Maga works for you, then go and use it. Everyone has different body types suited for different tasks. There is always an opening to be found in every art. A weakness at somept

  • @ punkjockstuarty

    Hahahaha ..

Clearly I have hit the has been nail on the head..

Has beens of a feather flock together..

Your both worthless martial artists so you are well suited...

Did you know the ABC Combat system was NEVER taught to the Royal Marine Corps at Stonehouse Barracks as Stated in the ABC Combat Promo..?!

Fatso did seminar for free...Try before you waste your government-money -and buy ?

    .instead they train Krav Maga.

The Kung-Fool-Panda Crudelli and his has-beens fail again

  • @pooponic Then again, you can also take up the position of sniper and never really worry about close quarters combat :D

Anyways, Krav Maga is nothing but another MMA. Grapples, strikes, throws, hand techniques.

I don't really care what the government thinks the militia should learn, but you should realize that everyone has different paths to take to get to the same destination.

  • @punkjockstuarty

The fact is they are now advertising on Groupon..

which is a last chance promotion site for failing businesses.

Just like the failing ABC/TKO club in Scotland with the grey haired has been 60 odd year old instructor who had to cancel his ABC opening day seminar as no one was interested in visiting the Scottish shit hole! LOL

I suspect you are the Has been Scotsman Stuart Carey who teaches the sport TKO and now as a pensioner has done a few classes with Crudelli & Now ABC

  • another dojo warrior

  • Chris fought the Brazilian regional champ lastnight, and won

  • @DanielOneTwoWilliams

    so where is the evidence?

    photos, video ,witness magazine article.

go to his pages and posts on ABC combat etc

he does not say who , what region of brazil not event, the weight...

    and claims it is secret...project

    what a cock!

he frequently makes OUTRAGEOUS STATEMENTS to try to promote his failing cnew club and fake oxygen challenges

  • @pooponic

fake oxygen challenge ? failing club ? have you perhaps taken part in an oxygen challenge and failed ? have you been a butter bar and melted under pressure ? or are you simply a mouth with legs and no balls who hides behind anonymous postings and are bitter because you have achieved nothing ?

  • Some people play piano purely for fun. Others play so that others might enjoy listening. Both are worthy. If you've ever encountered violence, you'll know the difference between practice and performance.

  • I don't think there is a contradiction between "real fighting" (whatever that means) and "The enjoyment of the beauty of body mechanics" with the purpose of defence or not. The two camps are involved in the same principles essentially. One could argue that one is more internal and the other external, but that seems to me to be conjecture, both are dealing with body mechanics. so where is the problem. One is simply attaining one aim and the other another. Hmm!

  • A punch comes and goes within a fraction of a second. All techniques demonstrated require 3-4 consecutive movements to happen within that time. It is impossible in majority of cases.

More practical approach would be to use counter punch for example. But it would be boxing then.

Do not live in the fantasy land. Start with MMA or KravMaga or SYSTEMA.

Ask "How long it takes to do move A or B or C and you would realise that most teaching would not work...Unless you manage to foresee it is coming.

  • @gespilk your an idiot, The first move he makes always counters the original punch 90 degrees to the momentum which traps them off balance, allowing the split second needed for the counter move to occur. He just slowed it down so your stupid ass could see what he was doing.

  • @twitch3111

You are delusional. have you tried this stuff against opponent who does not cooperate. I have challenged many and they always fail if I use a knife. They always end up covered in red paint which in reality would mean they get seriously cut or dead.

The techniques demonstrated do not account for the opponent's reactions. The "trapping" you talk about in most cases is not possible. What is possible is what in MMA is called "setting up" the opponent using combinations.

  • @gespilk plz stop talking like you know what your talking about. It was clear when you said don't learn tai chi, but learn the styles of MMA that your fucking stupid. Most of the styles used in MMA are for sport, NOT self defense.

  • @gespilk oh just so you know I practise tai chi, and the drill we use learn to dodge the attack and get beside the opponent like in the knife demo came straight from a systema exercise..... wait, i thought that move was useless, but it is used in one of your so called good styles.... DAMN SO MUCH NOT MAKING SENCE!!!

  • @gespilk ... you say great things about mma... trouble is do you even know what it is? it stands for 'mixed martial arts' ... meaning a combination of forms like... oh, i dunno... tai chi?

  • @Spiritrunner6 yeah sure brainiac lots of taiji in mma-pfft

  • Crudelli got out of shape. :(

  • Great video and a decent explanation of Tai Chi Chuan, thanks

  • Tai chi can be shown to someone in 1 day. Actual learning is about as fast as many martial arts. You can reliably use a few techniques and principles in a week, can probably be a passable fighter in 3ish months depending on your aptitude but the annoying part is that at this point you will still probably have a rough somewhat unrefined form.

  • good vid!

  • tai chi is a martial art but it takes about a decade to learn how to use as a self defence it may infact be one of the hardest arts to apply to the modern world its main focus is to help master chi 1st and formost but you can develop it to fighting practise .I doubt i shall ever get that far as my life is not dedicated to it fully . If you have a care do some research and hopefully you shall be amazed by it

  • HE DOIN SILAT ,ESCRIMA LOL

  • So would anyone here say that learning tai chi will help you with your martial arts? I think they are starting it near to where i live and just wondered if it would improve me

  • what martial arts do you do?

  • i do taekwondo and a self defence art called hankuk mu do, tis really good

  • well in that case it will really help your taekwondo and hankuk mu do

  • Take it from a martial artist with long experience: Tai Chi Chuan is a martial art in its own rights. Its a complete martial art that takes just as many years to learn like everyone else. Training more than one martial art at the same time is most often bad because the arts have different ways of doing things and reacts against each other. If you are already practising a martial art then take all the training time you have on that particular system first before you move on to the next art.

  • @taphoenix well, as I was told, it depends, because some people train Tai Chi more for health, but there are some who train Tai Chi as it was at the start, which is a martial art. Sometimes it is for both reasons, but it can be hard to discern which at times.

  • I was told that its best to have had some training in another form before learning tai chi.

  • i met him the other night, hes a nice bloke... =]

  • Does anybody know Chris Crudelli's heritage?? i've ben trying to find out for a while and cant find any info. Im guessing he's half filipino chinese half white....

  • No his Italian/English he was born in the same place as me in Birmingham England, his second name is italian. and he moved to china when he was 17 and moved back to england in his mid 20s

  • He is half irish and half italian.

He had a tough childhood in the ghettos and it was a Chinese family who gave him support and taught him martial arts that's why he knows so much Asian cultures.

  • we need more kick ass miracles chris

  • I like the way you blocked chris's punch.

    Complete second nature.

  • faint! totally take tai ji in wrong way.....

  • Anyone know if chris is making any more programmes?

  • The whole idea of using someones force against them can be very flawed. You need split second timing to avoid the attack then in the very next second you have to apply the move by then the attacker will be digging you in the face.

  • thats why it takes years & years of practice

  • @SOUTHSIDER1985 My power level grew to over 9000 in under six days under the training of King Kai.

  • i would'nt say you have split-second timing and the window of counter attack is actually a reasonably sufficient one given that fact that your opponant is likely to be off-balance slightly and is trying to think of a follow up to their first failed move. with even a small amount of training almost anyone can utilise their opponants force to aid their attack.

  • rubbish, thats the idea, why go head to head with 16stone man if you"re a women, the beauty of Tai Chi is that any small person can defeat very large attacker, by using there body weight against them. Its the ultimate martial art when practised properly!

  • Very true! Thats why breathing is important, so when it comes to it? you are like a force of energy to burst them away.

  • There is no such thing as the ultimate martial art. And any martial art is helpful, if practised properly. Superior body strength is always an advantage, that can be compensated by superior technique. But technique is not the one factor that conquers all.

  • technique is the most important thing, or in other words fundamentals, I used to box & throwing a punch is technique, SAT (speed acuracy timing) plyometrics can improve power aswell. Tyson had fantastic technique, he was schooled to death, & used to torque very well on all punches, power comes from having good balance more than anything. the fist isn"t the punch it just the delivery, the power comes from the footwork legs, again it go"s back to technique!

  • i suggest everyone ignores that fat lard arse halfwit dipshit i know fuckall retard Blndrfist, cotton candy arsed fist more like. I'd like too seeyou beat on Chris crudelli and get hammere disrespectful wanker.

  • Chris would not be able to perform any of the three primary applications of Taijiquan with the body mechanic he demonstrates in this video. The video is like someone claiming to demonstrate the Takeda family's Aikijujutsu and instead demonstrating TKD.

  • I like a lot of Chris's shows and the demo's are fun to watch, but this looks more like a modified kali or silat. The methods of connection and applications are definitely not Taijiquan.

  • they are all intrinsically related.

    your statement is therefore gash.

  • He is so sexy.. Chris Crudelli... and good looking... hmm... :-)

  • You show such disrespect and contempt. I will pray you become more open to kung fu and learn how to show respect of people you have never met.

  • "like to mystify and idiot chinese peasant population"... That makes no sence. Nice try though.

  • Crudelli is a fucking fag. He has ZERO fighting skills and would get his ass handed to him in an actual fight. You idiots need to grow the fuck up.

  • How do you know? Have you met him? How about people stop hating people who have achieved something good! If you have dedicated your whole life to Kung Fu then the chances of getting your ass handed to you in a fight are minimal. So why don't you just respect people huh?

  • Bullshit you idiot. Kung fu is a fucking joke asshole; it was a method that priests and other frauds used to dazzle and stupefy an idiot chinese peasant population. It is completely fucking useless in a real fight. Crudelli has ZERO fighting record of any kind; until he steps in the ring and proves himself, he's just another blowhard liar.

  • Your ignorance makes you sound like an idiot. If you can't appreciate Kung Fu then at least show respect for the people who do dedicate themselves to it. Also why are you even watching this video if you have such a low opinion of Kung Fu? Seems like your here to show your disrespect. Pure and utter ignorance.

  • Why the fuck should anyone show respect for a guy who claims he has never lost a fight since he was 13, who goes around claiming to be a bad ass and teaching people how to fight, and who uses a bogus "fighting system" when he has never fight a single second in any recorded fight anywhere? Why respect anyone who doesn't prove their fucking claims? You are a credulous fucktard; go back to your cartoons asshole.

  • shutup

  • tu suck la marde

  • LOLLLLL you are really funny

  • I have the greatest of respect for Crudelli for bringing Martial Arts back in to the limelight. However his Taiji sucks. I've seen his form and It's a debased verson of Cheng Fu. Stick to the the kung fu!!

  • Anyone know which style/form he's doing here ?

  • i think is Yang style

  • Crudelli rocks!! More Mind Body & Kickass Moves please

  • a little like akido huh

  • well thats a ridiculous comment

  • wash your mouth out!

  • Lol my dad is friends with chris crudelli's dad, only just found out recently that he had his own show.

    My claim to fame

  • wtf tai chi can split body

  • Sound and vision are a bit crummy, but the show is great.

  • If anybody is saying this wouldn't really work there is a video out there somewhere of Chris Krudelli on some tv show and what they do is to have all the hosts of the show jump him. It looks a bit like this lol. Il look for it and post it here.

  • why do dipshit allways have to bring up the damn ufc.. ufc is only a sport in reality fighting anything goes.. alot of people can last against a ufc in the street

  • Chris would wip out there eyes before the fight even started

  • No, but he'd probably beat the shit out of the Crack head trying to jack him.

  • @actionmanrandell I know what you mean

  • oh yes he would m8 u dont know a thing hes matered 17 martial arts fighting

  • actually he has mastered 1 he has done around 17 it was on paul ogrady show!!

  • Ultimately, in a life or death fight, I believe a martial artist is better equipped to win than a street fighter. A championship will always be more controlled than in a fight for your very survival.

  • i agree completly with you!!

  • I love MMA. But UFC is a sport. This is self defense. HUGE difference. You can use this shit on the street, cuz most people aren't MMA fighters. You miss the point entirely.

  • I understand what you are saying but who trains to fight an untrained opponent?

  • ......people who train to fight an untrained opponent are the people who use it for self defense aganist muggers, bullies.bar fights or whatever the fuk u get into lol..

  • If you only train for an ill prepared opponent and aren't prepared for someone who is determined how do you cope with that?

I assume you don't train to fight people who are paper tigers? Ever stop a training session because your partner did something an untrained person wouldn't do? Of course not.

Do you believe that muggers, bullies, etc didn't ever box, wrestle, do TKD, or BJJ? Probably very few but why make such an assumption that could cost so much?

  • What?? No people train so they are prepared and will no what to do in different situation. Peeople train so they remain calm in situations that may not be prepared for.anyway, i really dont understand what you are getting at.

  • @DirtyRat88 trouble is, knowing if your opponent is untrained or not. By experience i would call street fighters trained at least to a certain extent... anyone fights enoug times and they will start to figure things out.

  • lol Chris 'cowboy' Crudelli

  • some of these skills dont work in the real world when someones coming at you will full blast punches

  • Ignorance is bliss.

That is, until you get your ass kicked by underestimating fighting techniques beyond the good ol' "brawling drunk man at the pub" style.

  • are you serious?

have you even fought someone that knows tai chi, kung fu, karate, etc.?

because it obviously sounds like you havent

  • @ Bigjonnyjon

lol for one thing tai chi is a self defense. But if you are hit by someone who actually knows how to use tai chi and he/she send your energy back at you it will tear you up on the inside. I been studying it for 10 years and lets just say i never lost a fight..i don't go looking for one but when i must i will use it. It is used for energy rederection rather then solid hits

  • Damn wish I could do that. I dont have the determination to put lots of effort into it though (to learn it). but I respect those who do.

  • Chris Crudelli is such an ass :D

I do like his curiosity and willingness to get is his butt kicked by some crazy MountainChinese though

  • Have you seen the episode where some asian dude with fists like a rock punches him? Man, that looked painful.

The asian dude punches gravel when he trains and his fists look like those big foam Hulk fists, only they're not green. It's freaky shit man. One look at those fists, and I'm running for the hills.

  • Sure. The hulk is my neighbour

  • need to sort of the filming.

like the lighting, angles and sound.

    =]

  • Ebeneezer, please clarify and support your commment about Mr. Crudelli by supplying facts so that we can all get to know the truth. Simply stating that one is a liar is not enough. I am not saying that I believe Chris on his word, so I certainly wouldn't believe you either. Please don't use GOP/Republican smear tactics or else you will lose credibility. I look forward to hearing your facts about Crudelli. best wishes.

  • If you're running for President, I'm voting for you.

  • Its funny how in the film industry, no one wants to work with his old producer now for the same reason, just the other way around.

Do your research before you comment

  • Not bad individual technique applications, but a poor showing of the principals and energies that are real tai chi chuan. Might be more interesting to show how the energies of one move can be used in hundreds (thousands?) of variations! Just a thought- keep up the great training!

  • background true or not...he'd knock 10 tons of shit out of you before you could even introduce your self lol. have a bit of respect

  • I doubt it some how.

A dancer doesn't particularly terrify me.

  • i didn't know that. I'll watch out for that. His taichi looks interesting, also different to my teacher's taichi. I like my teacher's tai chi better, because my teacher seems to be quite skilled, while Crudelli's skills are unknown for me.

  • u guys shud meet benny besa!

  • Crudelli rocks!! More Mind Body & Kickass Moves please!!!

  • Crudelli rules! The tai chi is simple Yang style tai chi that is very sound biomechanically. My TJQ teacher Hamed Shafae knows besides tai chi: wushu (chang quan and nan quan),shaolin quan from Song Shan mounatins, and he's learning Chen style tai chi.He doesn't teach Chen style because he's trying to be as good a teacher as he can: otherwise he would be a money stealing mcDojo man.He also has a dayjob and goes to university, being over 45 years old I think.Interesting parallels about both of them.

  • Av' got a minus! OH NOES!

  • oh! u shud meet benny besa. he knows almost all martial art styles. but only teaches yang and chen style. he won gold medal in the competition and in real fights. :)

  • vid no longer available?

    Just seems to hang......

    tb

  • Must have been a temporary glitch twobellz, it seems to work fine for us? Do let us know if you are still havin trouble though, would reccomend letting the good people at youtube know if its still playing up (as we certainly haven't changed anything!)

  • Thanx for this vid because it shows people that Tai chi chuan is a real Martial Art technique for defense

  • Yes, nice to see. Nothing really "special" here from the perspective of Tai Chi as a martial art, but I mean that positively. A solid demo that shows

    1. That Tai Chi is indeed not just "old people waving arms around".

    2. And just as importantly, that it's also not about using positions from forms in hard and jerky movements that have no Tai Chi principles in them. (As you see in some videos here on YT).

Doing the TCC community a favour, here, Mr Crudelli.

  • Interesting variant of the single whip application. Crudelli is a legend!

  • Nice video! nice and simple and good to see tai chi as it is meant to be.

be sure to check out some of the kung fu videos i've posted

  • Thanks for the positive comments morpheus :-)

  • So cool. Should use a boom mic next time, though.

  • true

  • Yeah the sound quality makes it difficult to hear.

  • Indeed, the sound quality is a shame. We have noted that for the next set of tutorials, unfortunately the room we were in was very echoey with background noise... lesson learned for next time!

  • He certainly has the power. We have more videos coming too dont forget to subscribe to our channel to keep informed!

  • No offence chris I allways thought you were a pretty rubbish martial artist, but actually looking at this video I can see the power that you possess.

    Excellent :D
