Oh Shane you are Wonderful......what a sweet gentle voice, I could feel your words.
I recall when this album came out, I bought it right away, i was only a kid in Waianae at the time.....I didn't feel the power in the Home Grown albums then, but I do now, I got them on CD made for me from my Mom for Christmas I cried it touched me so much.
I am putting you on my favorites..... Wow what a voice Thank you again...hope to hear more from you. Aloha nui loa, Sam
I remember listening to this song when i first came on to you tube and thinking to myself how much damage has been done to tribes and nations all over the world in the name of christianity, what a lie that is when you know it's for resources gold oil etc,we have all alot to answer for at the day of reckoning thats for certain.
first time hearing this song i thought it was just wonderful and i felt a little more informed afterwards about some of your history, i also love that Hawaii sound you naturally have in your voice, im buying a ukulele soon because i love that kinda sound =] great performance
thanks anthony. i'm glad you got something out of it. and i'm glad you're getting a uke. it's a great instrument. i grew up listening to my dad strumming on his every saturday morning. i love the sound of it too. take care. shane
thank you, chuck. fell in love with it the first time i heard it. something about the song just grabbed me, and it's held me ever since. good to hear from you. take care. shane
WOW i as a brit am embaressed at our past and ashamed at some of the wrongs we inflicted on others we had no right to do so for that i can only say sorry i can't speak for everyone, but loved the song its heart felt history well done again shane
No need to apologize. Every nation has done its share of wrongs throughout our world's history. All we can do is learn from the past and determine to respect all, and look down upon no one.
thank you for the view and comment. take care. shane
