i hav a feeling its not a elite home world,if the elite are living nea the ark,then y the covenant did not 'protect'the ark until halo 3?I think it is the one of the forerunner world,"Onyx"...well,cortana go rampant she burnt almost 1 year or more lifespan,leaving a few if they r rescued.master cheif in cryo pod,definately a major rescue mission to retrieve a fallen hero,u think so,like jason?

Ok who said master cheif dies .... WHEN WILL PEOPLE LEARN ... play and finish halo 3 and at the VERY END master cheif goes into a stacis pod (crnt spell lol) in the back half of the frigate 'forward unto dawn' (front half crash landed on earth with the arbiter). Also complete the campagin on legendary and at the very end it shows the frigate heading to a planet (belived to be the elite home world). But no ones knows what planet it is.
