  • Thanks for the video tutorial, I am going to make these adjustments to all my toilets. You saved me $20 a toilet for the dual flush float upgrade...I owe you a beer.

  • is that water brown???????????

  • @Lindax I upper decked him

  • Be sure to check the actual water use at the meter.

  • This is great! I had a plan on making my own dual flush toilet, but this seems much easier! Thanks so much for providing this water-efficient demo

  • You're welcome.... please pass the link on to your friends.

  • I need 5gal for my big dumps. Can you please show me how to modify?

  • Ha... don't we all. You just control length by holding the handle down. That's the whole idea. Push release for the small stuff, hold for the big stuff.

  • Your bathroom floor reminds me of "I dream Of Genie"

  • Good to hear the 502 works ok. I never got a chance to test it myself.

  • I used the Fluidmaster 502 "Dial-A-Flush" flapper on my toilet. The flapper itself turns like a dial to adjust the position of the timing hole. Start at "5" and adjust it for the minimum amount of water needed for a flush. Korky also makes an adjustable flapper but it has a float on the chain like your stock one but was designed to be easily moved up or down. Again, adjust for a minimum amount needed for a flush.

In both cases, press and let go for a minimum flush and hold for a full flush
