  • You are still awsome! even if you are not better than Patrick Boivin!

  • that's one hell of an ugly aiflare

  • what fonts are u using?

  • not bad

  • i think patrick uses dragon stop motion to blur the frames togather...

  • @AlexBowmanFB u dont need dragon stop mo to do that.

u need a plug in which cn be used in any editing software that support the plugin.

  • @DatoFarid Gotcha!! thanks 4 telling me cause im new to stop motion animation. check my vid to see.

  • @AlexBowmanFB ok no prob.

  • You also have to study the dancing moves correct :) nice job by the way!

  • Even if you don't match his results in the end, good for you for making the attempt!

  • move the dummy little bit at a time for smoother playback

  • how do u do this?

  • ptrick boivin is a professional who has been studying animation and film... none the less don't give dude you are on the right tracks you can only improve and learn from you mistakes

  • because your a bull****

  • nice try, but patrickboivin wins

  • Patrik won but good animation

  • patric bovin use i stop motion !

  • patrick wins

  • Budget ftw.

  • choppy? yes. but still hella sick!!

  • Oh and plus..Patrick use's 12inch figures that have Movie quality features and joints...and your Lighting is tooo dark!

  • yours is Varey chopy.

  • It's better than what I could do!

  • No need to be a jerk about it some people. sheeesh. I thought you did pretty good. I just think what spockpapersissors said is all you need. ^__^

  • I think Patrick are using more frames and has great editing programs to smooth it all out.

  • you need better lighting and a better camera w/ liveview and a stopmotion program that uses live view :) like iStopmotion or Dragon something its what PB uses

  • idiot.

  • whats the music?

  • Lol spread your legs and twist your arms faster.

But I seriously, I think its because boivin understand breakdance physics better than you.

  • I think this is pretty good too.. I won't have that much patience, I can tell you that! So hats off to you both for a job well done!

  • totaly agree, Boivin is better

  • boivin is the best, and nobody can be like him.....FACT

  • @Thekamillinair004 i bet in 1 year when i learn the ropes of stop motoin i can beat him!

  • boivin is better than you

  • what are those helping hand clip type things with which u make this figure stand

  • hä?

  • Yeah Stop-Motion is waaaaaaaaaaaaay more easy to do using 12" dolls or clay marionettes because those are more heavy than regular 3.5" / 4" / 6" figures. I do stop motion with 3.5" figures and is hell a difficult to pose the figures as I want to but it is not impossible.

If you are under Windows platform I recommend you guys to use Honestech Claymation studio and Dragon Studio for Mac users those are the best for amateur stop-motion.

  • where's the finished product?

  • cause he use DRAGON'S STOP MOTION

  • hey what is the name of the clipper that holds the object?????? anyone please reply .....

  • It's called the Helping Hands tool...I bought mine at Harbor Freight. I think that's just one brand though...but that's what mine are called. Great tool for stop motion.

  • thats still pretty good man !!!

  • the dude use paper clip and chewing gum. hahaha. Clever. I should do that.

  • better music than patrickbiovin

  • if u try hard u can achive ur goal......its just hard work and better understanding......nice work u got there...just like to see the finished work...

  • you cannot do like Patrick Boivin because:

    1. your doll does not have good joints.

    2. your rigging is totally insufficient

    3. he uses live action film to rotoscope picture by picture his moves.

  • AHAAAAAA!!!! I was gonna say that. So he did use live action clips. Cause the way he do it is so liquidy. But this one allllmost got it but not close.

So when Patrick use the live action, what he do? He pause it and use the step mode on a DVD video or something?

  • Uh, don't get me wrong but Markgeoff222's Spiderman has similar points than Joker. Differences is: Spidey is smaller and lighter while Joker is 12 inch taller and teensy heavier. I got one and the joints is tight instead of being loosey so it's good for animation. Give the dude so credit. At least he tried.

  • you can import live action footage to a stop motion capture program of your choosing (Dragon is good) and use it on the background a bit like onion skin to match your moves. and go frame by frame.

Joints... not: points... see the making of Bboy joker there... Patrick has made special joints to his puppets (one got broken), making them move more controlled and not to be on the mercy of plastic hinges that wear off and do not hold. A bit modelmaking there to do... good luck.

  • malo malo muy malo

  • awsome dude

  • Nice one.
