Mmm I remember seeing this movie a few years ago and I didn't really understand it too well back then. I was about 8. Ten years on I kind of want to see it again. I remember it, but want to watch it with passion and understand it this time round!
Esta banda sonora marcó en mi vida un antes y un después, con esta canción conocí a mi primera pareja, con lo cual, es muy significatica, James Horner es un artista, y ya Celine Dion cantando Then you look at me, ufffff la piel de gallina!
"That you can lose yourself. Everything. All boundaries. All time. That two bodies can become so mixed up, that you don't know who's who or what's what. And just when the sweet confusion is so intense you think you're gonna die... you kind of do. Leaving you alone in your separate body, but the one you love is still there. That's a miracle. You can go to heaven and come back alive. You can go back anytime you want with the one you love. "
live the simple word that we take for granted many times but it what keep you going trought the time line of life with out it you my nest well be dead ,life is the word that create almost everything i hear this song when i get sad and some how it get kind of happy.people ,robots we need to life our life tot he fullest every day. there is no man.no machine , no nothing that can tell you whne you presiouse lide will end sadly true fact .so live yours life as you want to and have a nice life
On some occasions I get upset, and try to hang myself but deciding not to I watched this spectacular film and realized suicide is not the answer as you have one chance at life and a certain amount of time like Portia said but now I am 19 and now growing older but watching this made me feel heartfelt inside and when you die you die and I got into life before any other sperm now I have found the answer if I am feeling sad, BICENTENNIAL MAN.
You could imagine this being played as backgroud music whilst the pictures of the whole of someones life with their friends and family right until the end are played on power point as a kind of rememberance and dedication at their funeral, i think it would be nice x
Beautiful. Listen to it all the time. Reminds me of how beautiful life is, how valuable it is, how precious it is...and how fast it can be taken away.
".To be acknowledged for who and what I am; no more, no less. Not for acclaim, not for approval, but the simple truth of that recognition this has been the elemental drive of my existence and it must be achieved if I am to live or die with dignity."
O compositor é o mesmo de titanic e coração valente, além de new world, notem a semelhença entre as melodias, principalmente entre essa e a do coração valente... mesma linha... James Horner very good!!
Im a firm believer in the fact that music can put you in a certain frame of mind (and this puts me in a good place) I think music is such a powerful thing you have to be careful with it because listening to distructive music can effect the way you think the way you feel and put you in a bad place, music that's calming t the soul and uplifting does the exact opposite
I really like this film, storyline, romantic side and ending to this. I like his name Andrew and I like Robin Williams who play him. Sweet guy his character was. Thankyou
I wonder when the composer sat down to write this piece did they know the emotion that was in it. So beautiful. I remember having a conversation with a few associates a while back about music, and they were telling me that Ray Lamontagne's music moved them to tears, at the time a brushed that comment aside but when I hear something like this I fill up. What an emotional soundtrack, what a beautiful film. Both deserve to be better known.
@newleezerbrand "Music has a spellbinding effect in our lives. Whether for good or evil it influence us to do great things in the world where we first thought was impossible. Gives us hope where there is none. Give us the energy we need to keep going when we've gone all could go. People underestimate the power of music. A world without music there would be no life." A Quote that I made up my self and have come to use on a daily bases of my life. Still needs tweaking though. ^_^
makes miss someone very close to me and how i wish i could stand in front of them right now and tell her how i feel, because iam so in love with her, tmrrw i will and i will have this song the back of my head
@TheAcgolf23 I know what you mean. I find that many of the movies that crash and burn in the box office like this one are truly masterpieces. This one is in what I call my "Elite Collection". It is by far my favorite.
Love Bicentennial Man its a fab film, and this song is absolutely beautiful.
Do you think you could send me it? If not do you know where I could download it? I cant seem to find it at all. If you cant send it or dont know, thanks anyway.
I love the theme song of this movie. It's based on the song in the end credits called Then You Look At Me sung by Céline Dion .I Love her. She have beautiful voice. :)Much much Emotional Movie :)
no no no no NO!!! her song was based on THIS song.... this is a great song... so she took it and put lyrics into it... james horner wrote THIS and she made THAT... K?
@gibsonguy625 Actually, the song was written by Horner and Will Jennings, as "My Heart Will Go On." Horner composed the music and Jennings wrote the lyrics. Later, they chose Dion again to perform it like they did two years before with Titanic. However, as the movie was not acclaimed by critics, Sony Music decided not to launch the song. Hope it helps.
@bicrastAK I love soundtracks, because you can understand the feelings and meanings they're trying to put out even without words. And I don't understand how some people cant. So I respect everyone who does, and you I respect :)
