@DiosdeWar a substitute for kno³? impossible.. its the most common (and highly needed) chemical to make any burning coposition, just buy it in you're local gardening store, its a white powder(: or else, buy it from pyrodirect.. :)

i found out for the ratio of the potassium nitrate mixed with the sugar should be i tested it and this one seems to work better 6 tbs of sugar and 8 tbs of putasium nitrate- out of 3 min 2 min and 20 sec.

unlike other bombs, smoke bombs/grenades 'burn' to produce smoke, but not an explosion.

2) the mixture is 4:6 Sugar:Kno3

3) To colour add coloured powdered dye.

4) Kno3 is very difficult to find in North America these days legally.

2) you can make you own measurements, just make the Kno3 dominate the sugar 5:3 is the standard.

3) adding colored dye is optional,

(the dye should be organic)
