hi there my name is jay & i want to start looking for gold with my bro when gets out of the NAVY so do yopu know if theres any gold in BENTON COUNTY, INDIANA
Well you got a little bit of gold nice machine to but i reccon you and your dad should go to a area with bedrock sticking out or big boulders and dredge all around them and if possible flip them over with a car jack and dredge under them couldnt tell yah how many pickers ive found doing that kind of dredging!
ONe of the few vids that show how to do it from beginning to end!!! I applaude you. Tell dad to consider getting a mat for under the Miners moss. I would bet he is losing ALOT of gold because the fine stuff passes under the mat and out the box. It is my understanding many people have a problem with that
Hi to all I'm currently taken orders for building 3" dredges cost is the lowest you will ever find. I build them here in Bloomington IN. If interested email me at freedomfighter06oif@yahoo.com for the build cost. down payment is req.
Ive never prospected in Northern Indiana but almost any creek south of 465 ive found gold in about every creek ive tried especially around the Morgan-Monroe area where I live. If anyone has a dredge or Highbanker/dredge Ive got some exellent private property where the gold is NICE. I dont have everything for a dredge yet just most of it.I prospect year round even when its below freezing. You can email me at: purpleorbes@msn.com The name is Ryan Bruce
@Mrjayjubear I can't say much about the gold panning. My dad is the 'expert' when it comes to that.
As far as the camera goes, I was using a Flim Ultra HD that shoots in 720p high definition. Although I've recently upgraded to a Canon 1080p Full HD camcorder. The Flip is still a great portable camera and the underwater case makes it preferred for these videos.
Is there good gold here I liv in da area and still a noon looking for some good gold close by message me if any good spots thanks p.s watt highbanker should I get
great video but a word of advice as another indiana prospector you need to slow down your water in the box put a longer piece of rubber over the riffels and slow down your pump flow it helps catch the really fine stuff you will be surpiised to what difference this makes. just sugestions but can tell your new to the fever thanks for the vidos i did enjoy
Thanks for sharing guys! Recommend you pan is calmer water, or turn down stream and pan WITH the current. It will give you more control. Keep the videos coming!
All that for one fleck of gold, worth what, a dime? Better move to another area.

Whats the regulations on running a dredge in Indiana?
jgamble66 1 year ago
@jgamble66 I can't say for sure. I think 5" dredge for recreational purposes was the max. My dad could tell you more.
youngflyer12 1 year ago
@youngflyer12 i thought 6'' was the limit?
Ready2Run1 1 year ago
@Ready2Run1 Hi Ryan, 5" is the largest dredge that can be used in Indiana.
