Something funny - they could have just added some Neodymium magnets to the cars - which are very common and widely used for those that don't know - to increase the downforce of the cars to reduce or eliminate the risk of crashing...

@Testement117 Because sadly the CBC isn't funded anything like the BBC. I suppose that's the trade-off; you can either pay the government to watch television and they'll make quality programs for it, or you can watch for free and be stuck with ads and American imports.
