  • I reckon that's the closest thing possible to actually jammin' with Steve!

  • I keep thinking you're gonna play it in drop D like Warren Haynes lol :)

  • Dude, that totally rocked! Great song and a great replication of the guitar part. Keep rockin just like that. There's not enough of that kind of playin going down these days.

  • That Tele is fucking sexy!!!

  • Humble Pie opened for Emerson Lake & Palmar, Hamton Va. 1970. Humble Pie stole the show. Thanks for video.

  • Did you ever tab this out?

  • I'd be tempted to play this one in open G

  • IS THAT REALLY YOU PLAYING THAT GUITAR??? You're a carbon copy of the original. CONGRATS! We need more players like you...Much success in your endeavors. I'll even listen to this one again. THANKS!

  • Great job Sam .

  • Sam, I just pulled myself away from a Lonnie Mack/SRV jam and was wondering if you have any Lonnie Mack stuff in your bag....

  • I did 30 days in the hole back in 1976,

  • @MyTwangyGuitar

cool Sam!... thx again; you are an awesome talent...btw, any thoughts on recording my other suggestion? great guitar part on "Good Thing" by P Revere & The Raiders?...a very talented & under-appreciated American group from the 60's that stemmed the tide of the British invasion...should be in the R&R Hall Of Fame IMHO.

    thx.

  • man this was great how long have you been playing im just starting out.

  • Sam, this video is incredible! I've loved this song since I was 15 and I'm 52 now!! Outstanding job! Keep up the great work buddy!

  • Buddy you never dissapoint you are so cool thanks great song Love it

  • Man, you always pick the best rock and roll songs! I love this song!! This song is the epitome of a perfect rock and roll boogie.

  • Hi Twangy, Nice Cover of Humble Pie their, Huge Fan and i'm 13!! Just wanted Know how much the Tele was and how about another Cover of Song called "Four Day Creep" by Humble Pie, it's pretty Amazing.

  • I LOVE YOU. i've been listening to humble pie like crazy, and here you are, making a video of it. what a coicidence

  • They don't make front men like Steve Marriott anymore.

His Les Paul was bigger than him, his voice was leather lunged yet melodic, his guitar playing was solid - better than average.

He was 3 1/2 feet tall, most of which was heart and he gave blood on stage. He left nothing in the bag.

What a talent. And a stupid way to die.

    Smokin'

    Irony overload.

  • of course I just listened to Smokin' for the first time today

  • Well done.

  • Sam, because of your opinion of this guitar I started looking at them. Settled on the 50s model because I like the maple fingerboard. I have a 73 Tele Deluxe I bought new and it sits under the bed waiting for a good offer. This guitar is every bit as good quality wise. Thanks for the tip.

And like the other person said, some instruction on getting the different sounds out of a Pod XT or whatever you use would be greatly appreciated. Might even make up a good DVD.

    Dave

  • got some higher drive and tremelo going. sounds good yo.

  • Great classic, right on! Enjoyed!

  • I love this song.

  • Is this a Squier Tele? The other comments would lead me to believe that. How does it play and is the quality up to a MIM Tele or a USA one? Let us know.

    Rock it, Sam.

  • Great song and what a player!! Tone is spot on!

  • sweet tele......

  • Hi,

    Great job again!!

I'm watching your channel for a long time now, and I was wondering if it would be be a problem for you to post the tone preset you use for each video you post.

A lot of us are using POD farm and I know it would be appreciated by a lot of us if you posted your tone preset which every post you make...makes playing along even more fun!!!!!

Keep up the good work, you are an amazing guitar player.

    greetings,

    Ron from the Netherlands.

  • Nice one, the squier is playing well?

  • did you work specifically on your timing, or is it something that came naturally?

  • @rhythmPhil Timing isn't hard really :) justpractice if you cant get it

  • Superb as always Sam! Keep 'em coming!

  • Loving it, Sam! It's also great to see you playing your new Tele! Now that a month or so has gone by, how would you compare it to your Burnt Orange Tele? Very curious to hear your opinion. Of my 3 Tele's, I find myself grabbing this one first lately for some reason. One more question: Do you have an instructional on how you set up your guitars on your website?

  • man, that's tight

  • So I take it you are enjoying your new Squire?

  • Is this a Frampton riff ?
