These specs even in early 2009 for a laptop is still very impressive. But this is more of a replacement desktop with the you have to pay. Plus it has a 17' screen. can we say big. Escpecially for a laptop. The GPU, HD2600, is the same as mine, except mine is an XT which is slightly more powerful. I have had it for a year now and though its outdated than the new 3000 and 4000 series ATI cards. It play all the older and newer games very well.

great laptop i dont think the power would last long at 3ghz also the gpu is kinda old and not that great . but other then that looks good but expensive

i'm ordering the Y510, but this looks amazing! The CPU throttle is awesome, Veriface actually works, Blu-Ray, Dolby audio, X9000 proc, new 500GB HDD, great video card, and HDMI!

Very good! big jump in laptop, definitely replaced majority of desktops, well definitely replaced my desktop :P always wanted a laptop that would be very practical!  A++ thanks for review!

This is quiet the big jump for laptops and its pretty much replaced the entire computers in my university! lol  definitely would last me for several years! I'd say worth every penny, hopefully battery life is good and is reliable in long duration because laptops in general break easily when you drop it accidentally :) wouldn't want to drop something like that laptop :)

Wow, I just bought a laptop couple months ago, with pretty good specs (2.5 gh, 4GB, 320 GB Ram, 256 Nvidia Graphics Card etc) but man this blows it out the water. This computer would sink my pocket around $3300, which I wouldn't be happy about but you gotta admit the processor/specs are SLAMMING!!!!

OMG!!! That is one of the nicest laptops I have seen. Amazing performance and it doesn't look like it weighs 20 pounds. LOL. Now thats gaming on the go. Great product.

Eh, I'm not too big with most laptops being widescreen now.

Other than that the laptop sounds really nice, especially with Blu-Ray built in.
