@devilrgod Problem dude. Oblivion has graphics and combat. Morrowind has originality, content, story, and its memorable. There wasn't really an improvement between the 2, they just swapped 70% of the things that made an elder scrolls game great for the other 30% that most people can live without.

@woooudoo You don't buy them. You download them off the internet for free. Just do some searching on google. Mind you, modding is NOT easy. But there are hundreds of mods out there already made that you can download and use.

For example, on Oblivion, I used a mod that lets you enchant any item with any spell type, like on Morrowind. Got rid of that stupid restriction that lets you only use a few spell types.

@DGneoseeker1 when i say buying i meant cheat disks of course. you cant download any mod tools via the internet on the old xbox, as it is a primitive and tossed aside piece of equipment now. so are you trying to say that i should just get the game of the year addition for the pc or what.

I'd get the PC version if I were you. It's not expensive and you can enhance the graphics as well as modding.

@DGneoseeker1 errr...thats not entirely true. on the old xbox before they shut it down, if you had xbox live you could download ultra enhanced accounts with items like the werewolf-transformation ring, onto your xbox. i deleted a few of those accounts because they were so huge, but i have one or two still saved, they have all the items and the stats are modded beyond sense.

@woooudoo That sounds more like just using someone else's saves rather than being a mod. Isn't that ring part of the Hircine quest? Stats can be made ridiculous using glitches, so once again modding isn't required for that. As for the PC version crashing... hmm. It's been known to crash occasionally, but honestly I wouldn't say I've had a lot of problems. It works better than Fallout New Vegas, that's for sure. Also, I've been using the Morrowing Graphics Extender to make everything look nicer.

There is a secret under water cave that has a predator in it and he is no joke the best predator his his weapon does like 9124 damage for every attack and his Helmet has a giant crystal and has 2211 armor I had to cheat to figure out that or glitch him into a corner then kill him

Oblivion is shorter and has less content but its put together much better.

It has full voice acting, epic fights (that dont feel like horrible orgies like in Morrowind)and great visuals.

Morrowind is too big, I dont play games to level up just so I can interact with some boring npc who only talks through text boxes.

In Oblivion you feel like a somewhat able warrior, while in Morrowind you feel like an armless weakling.

Thats not even the problem of oblivion, if you ask me. Many RPGs are lame on that part. Its the world that suxx. It looks like Europe. I look out of the window and see the real Europe. Nothing mythical, magical. The monsters suck, look stupid, physics are bad (without mod), ballencing is bad, TRANSLATION non existant (without mod) and the land looks ALL the SAME, even interitor!

Opinion accepted, but I for my taste can't see any more elves.

Besides, Beastraces offer a much greater varaity for quests if the gameplay is done right. And the social structure would be different to Morrowind and Oblivion resulting in more new gameplay.

For instance you don't get to a next rank just by questing, you earn yourself the right to battle the supperior or stuff like that and have to free deported slaves etc.

I just see more potencial there.
