Rufus is so lovely to look at.. all the muscles in his face move to show his emotions.. and those eyesssss ..beautiful eyess. he seems so down to earth and polite, honest etc.
i live in amsterdam the netherlands i felt in love with him in the tv series eleventh hour then it was stopped on tv and then i saw him on aurelio zen and was happy but indeed after 3 episode stopped here to in the first episode the kiss with the italian woman just perfect there god
They cancelled this show ater 3 episodes???!!??? Jesus Chirst this is among the best shows the BBC have made........Their just denieing us the quailty of this series
Do you realise that the BBC have decided not to make a further series?!! What is the matter with their tastebuds?! Everybody at the email to radio.times@bbc.co.uk or BBC complaints dept. to demand a further series - one at least. This opportunity of seeing the underplayed, subtle face of R.Sewell cannot be lost.
I missed the very first show but saw the second "Cabal" was very good, and I´m gonna watch it again tonight (sweden) . This is a nice series I haven´t read the books yet, but will try to.
I had to miss the first episode of Zen so thanks for posting this interview to keep me going til next Sunday! Rufus is such a stud muffin, and comes across as a really nice guy as well - brilliant!
yes, one of my favourite actors, up there with jonny depp for me...
but the programe had a sense of hotel babylon, not very believable in places, sencery beautiful and classy, but not as silly as hotel babylon, not having read the book so can't comment, but just felt it could have been better, somehow. still i will watch next weeks.
The first BBC adaptation of the Zen novels, 'Vendetta' was lumbering. But 3 things made it bearable: 1. The beautiful setting of Italian rural areas. 2. decent plot twists, and 3: the amazing arse of that Italian actress. Otherwise, this has been a disappointing adaptation of Dibdin.
Aneurin Barnard must be Rufus Sewells son. Or twin brother from another dimension and time. They look exactly alike.
