  • 2 cobain wannabes

  • Look! Edge and Triple H with brown hair are singing! LOL!

  • You can respect them for covering it but you don't necessarily have to like the band or it's music. I'm a Nirvana fan and I don't like the cover, PROBLEM?

  • wow theirs Kurt Cobains voice and his twin

  • Hey look 2 of the biggest Kurt wannabes together! My ears cant believe it!

  • shit quality lol but whatever.

  • 2 girls and one microphone

  • RIP Kurt Cobain

  • It's like their having a competition of who sounds more like Kurt lol.

  • this is soo sick!! nirvana shall never be forgotten!

  • EPIC.

  • two kurts

  • This is hot.

  • LOL, Shaun looks uncomfortable without a guitar in his hands...I love seeing artists giving tribute to some of the best music ever. Screw what the haters say, Shaun is the closest we will ever get to hearing Kurts voice again...

  • я благодарен Кобэйну за его творчество за его влияние к моей муз,жизни

  • Puddle of Mudd and Seether have a purpose. For one they are both different from nirvana but are influenced strongly enough that they are easily assimilated to nirvana and secondly, I've heard every Nirvana song ever record and i want more nirvana, So i go to these bands that are like nirvana but a little different. I find some of puddle of mudds stuff hooktastic rock n roll and seether have some pretty ace tunes too. Shut the fuck up all the music prudes.

  • grunge will never die as long as there is an unwanted child who craves music and builds up the anger necessary to growl and scream their fucking hearts out.

unfortunately, bands like POM, Seether, 3DG, BB, and last but not least Art of Dying are NOT grunge enough to have succeded in the 90s. sorry ShMoWe, love you man you inspire me, but you're just not quite at the level of Cobain.

  • stop hating god damn if they enjoy doing covers of niravana let them be thier not wannabes posers or anything like that so get over it and let them be...... their way better then some of the haters or others.......

  • 2 wannabe kc imitatons

  • Anyone who is hating on this cover, you need to grateful that Nirvana's music is living on through today's rock bands. Obviously no one will ever sound like Kurt again, but we should all appreciate the fact that Nirvana's music still lives on today.

  • just... great..

  • SO SIC!!! I always thought that Shaun Morgan and buddy from POM were the most like Kurt!!!

I love the fact that there is actually a song with both of them in it!!!

    GRUNGE LIVES!!

UNFORTUNATELY KURT DOESN'T no more =(..

BUT HIS MUSIC and INFLUENCE STILL DO!!!! <3

So until it's gone GRUNGE is never DEAD!!!!!!

  • @Broken666Halo Nirvana influenced shitty bands much like these and Nickleback...

  • @Lamefunday have u herd seethers album karma & affect??? ya lisin to it then tell me they suck!!

  • i love nirvana and this cover was prety cool , but hey thats me , not every body can do a nirvana cover this guys did it

  • why should we argue just because of music??!!!cmon guys...no one care even taylor swift sing this song...it's all a bout passion..we all love music..why hate each others!..repsect each other....

  • Grunge FOREVER...

  • I dont see why everybody thinks shaun and wes try to imitate kurt. Seether and Puddle of Mudd arent Nirvanna. Nor will they ever be. They make their own music. I do covers of both bands but that doesnt mean I try to be them. Shutup and enjoy the music.

  • god, they both sound just like kurt.

  • Shaun looks so awkward without a guitar xD

  • ok the guy from seether sucks just let the other guy sing

  • @valdivia562 Dude if someone played Seether's cover of Heart shaped box, and didn't tell you, you'd think it was Nirvana. He has an awesome voice and he's an amazing singer.

  • @BreakawaySalmon yeah but in this video he didnt do that good

  • @valdivia562 You just suck at life, I've never heard another band sound as good doing a nirvana cover...

  • @pofc3 ok

  • @valdivia562 why dont u like shaun morgan i think hes decent

  • these guys are corporate whores seether had one good song and puddle of mud has none

  • @godisgay1000

That sounds like an opinion. I mean, there more talented than you. And you hate them so much, then why are watching videos about them.

  • @Krisbcream1 i seee your point sorry aboot that i just saw it on the suggestion thing in the thing beside a vid and checked it out i just dont really like them bcuz in my opinion seether sold out and puddle of mud as well in my opinion

  • @godisgay1000

Don't say they "sold out." As a band you need to try new things to change a little bit, otherwise people will get bored of hearing the same old stuff. Which has happened to some of the most popular bands (cough) Nickelback. But, if you don't like Seether or Puddle of Mudd then that's fine. I'm not offended or anything.

  • @godisgay1000 Why is it when a band changes their sound they've automatically sold out? Why can't it be that they are just coming into their own? Seether went through so many changes... Shaun is the only original from that band. While Dale is from Africa as well, he was actually in another band with Shaun and decided to fill in for another bassist that flaked. And the drummer, has only been with them the last few years. Not to mention the countless times they've went from a 4 piece to a 3...

  • @pofc3 no i dont mean cuz theyv changed there sound theyv sold out all changing your sound shows is you have different intrests in music which most everybody has

  • shaun is better<3

  • <3 nirvana <3

  • Ok look. Here it is all in a bunch. To all you people who hate on Seether for covering Nirvana: You're not real Nirvana fans. Why do I say this? Because you obviously don't love Nirvana enough to recall an interview with Kurt Cobain afetr Weird Al made a parody of Smells Like Teen Spirit. Kurt Cobain said that HE LAUGHED AT THE COVER AND ENCOURAGED HIM TO DO IT BECAUSE COVERS ARE THE GREATEST FORM OF FLATTERY. So all you fucking lame-ass losers hating on Seether... You obviously know nothing.

  • @kargath101 i dont hate on seether for covering nirvana i dislike them for who they are

  • @kargath101 Preach it man! Haters gonna hate, but they still suck. You my friend rule :)

  • @kargath101 Not to mention that Seether does amazing covers of Nirvana. At least they don't sound like shit when they're doing them... And Shaun's just paying tribute to a band that inspired him!! Good looking out for a great band!!

    <3

  • @kargath101 You made my day when I read this...

  • @kargath101 actually... you're wrong. the point of doing covers is to make them DIFFERENT from the original, as a 'tribute/watever', as Weird Al did it and Kurt did from other bands. Not saying it should be for parody, but to NOT BE MONKEY-SEE-MONKEY-DO, wich is what this (shit)band does. trying to imitate other band, especially Kurt's voice etc, is ridiculous, not to mention the fact that i consider that stealing the work of others.

You, on the other hand, are a wannabe idiot.

  • @guitarFAIL Too bad you're not a real-enough Nirvana fan to know that almost -all- of Kurt's singing was modified by his record company because they didn't like his real trashy voice. Which can be found on Nirvana's box-set with all his raw recordings.

  • @kargath101 So,even if they changed his voice, which you make it so "obvious"(and seriously i not gonna have the trouble to go look for),so what?Did i even argumented bout that? That's shit!Do u even know wat corporate music industry is?Why should i care ifThe investors want to make it sound "POP" if me /EVERYBODY enjoy it the raw way? That's precisely one of the things Kurt hated about the music industry. So your point means zero, also you're a poser/wannabe,what's with that hair?Get a life moron.l.

  • @kargath101 What´s the name of this box exactly? I always hated Nirvana for being too sweet.

But they were the best Pop-Music on market, that´s for sure...

Yes, stone me for calling Nirvana Popmusic. Always asked myself, why Kurt Cobain had so little juice in his voice, his songs are great and without his sacrifice we would listen to too sweet stuff still.

  • @kargath101 I totally agree. People say it sucks or it's an abomination/disrespectful and I say those people are stupid because covers keep legends alive.

  • @kargath101 Dead on man!!!

  • @kargath101 lol you say that like it makes seether any good. lol i like their covers, i hate their actual music though

  • @kargath101 whatever dude, but "parody" ain´t the same as "tribute" or "cover". First one is funny as hell, second one...well I´m not too sure. I´m not against cover bands, but it´s like listening to a radio very fucking loud and there is one big reason that make all this cover bandas do what they do: because they admire another band that was ORIGINAL and CREATIVE. So maybe, it would be nice if they keep covering, but at the same time try to honor their music heroes DEVELOPING THEIR OWN MUSIC.

  • You know...I'm all for people loving Nirvana and I don't mind covers, but this is getting annoying with the rip-offs. Kurt was a true original and no matter how close this guy's voice is to his, it will never be Kurt. Even his screams were otherworldly. Cant recreate that Seether...sorry.

  • it's kurt split in two!!

  • Two legends

  • why couldn't they get two mics, they both do a great job on this song, but they need to be a little further apart

  • 2 HUGE losers

  • Shaun>Wes

  • I want these two bands to die....I fucking HATE rip offs. Yeah Nirvana covered bands that's not the problem, the problem is they're going out of their way to try and sound like Nirvana. That's gay as fuck, get your own sound you talentless twats.

  • @piemakesmelol They have their own sound. That standard bar rock sound you hear at most dive bars.

  • @MBnjmn- No I'm not talking about the way in which they play guitar, they sing PURPOSELY that way because they have no voice of their won, so they try to sound like Kurt or any other grunge singer and fail badly. They're wannabes, and don't have their own sound.

  • @piemakesmelol u sir r a complete retard, there where people before Kurt that had a painful and deep grungy voice, u ever herd of Led Belly? how about Son House? they r two blues artist that influenced Nirvana, they both have a dark voice just like he did, really that type of voice is very popular and Kurt was not the first to do it, I happen to love Nirvana and these band they do a great job covering it and at lest they don't play smells like teen sprite like Mily Cyris did

  • @rockout7190- You're wrong, no one has ever had a voice similar to Kurt's. There's a difference between having similar qualities as a singer and blatant imitation, both of the morons in the video are COPYING Kurt, they sound like they do because they want to be like Nirvana. It's so pathetic. They're so unoriginal and terrible.

  • @piemakesmelol That doesn't seem to be the case. Kurt fanboys are crazy

  • @jeanismohamed- No you're crazy if you enjoy this copy-cat music. They try their best to sound like a 'grunge' band because they want to make money, they don't give a fuck about actual music. They stink, and they're everything that's wrong with rock. They're sellouts and are incredibly tacky and talent-less, it's unreal.

  • @piemakesmelol hahaha, did you even listen to any of their songs? They try their best to sound like a grunge band and youre mad at that? theyre sellout and talent-less how? Some people will find any excuse to dismiss something they dislike, and your reasons are incredibly stupid.

  • @jeanismohamed- No, my reasons are perfectly valid. The fact that they're trying to sound like anyone is a bad thing, Nirvana, Pearl Jam etc never set out to sound 'grungy' in fact Kurt hated the label. They set out to make music and it was referred to as grunge, what bands like Puddle of Shit and Seether do is listen to these bands and imitate them to the best of their lacking abilities. that shows a lack of talent or originality. Talent comes from what you create not what you copy.

  • @piemakesmelol Dude, seriously. This should be considered more of an homage. Kurt was a dumbass. Creative? yes. Talented? yes. Rocked at life? no. All that Kurt said wasn't bible, but his music was great. There's nothing wrong with people paying homage to him especially these two guys who obviously were influenced by him.

  • @Soulphus- "Kurt was a dumbass"- This, coming from the person who likes Puddle of Mudd. Wow. Don't insult Kurt or just don't talk to me. And these guys are not paying homage, there's a big difference between being influenced by someone and stealing their traits. For example, Nirvana were influenced by the Pixies and that can be seen through the quiet loud dynamic etc however they don't sound like each other. Puddle of Shit however IMITATE Kurt's voice, guitar playing etc that's a rip off.

  • @piemakesmelol I don't like Puddle of Mudd. I do like Seether, though. Maybe calling Kurt a dumbass is harsh for him shooting himself in the face with a shotgun. I don't know what he was going through, I just think as an outsider looking in, it was stupid.... hence why I say he did not rock at life. I still think there's no reason to get all mad because these guys covered a Nirvana song. Soundgarden covered a Beetles song. Hendrix covered a few Bob Dylan songs. The list goes on.

  • @Soulphus-- But dude its not the fact that they're covering Nirvana. Anyone can cover whatever song they like, that's not the issue. My problem with them bands is because they are purposely going out of there way to sound like Nirvana. When Kurt covered David Bowie's Song "Man Who Sold The World" it didn't sound anything like the original but at the same time was still recognizable the same song. That's what a cover is supposed to be, something new. They don't do that.

  • @piemakesmelol i agree with you there...

  • @piemakesmelol I agree, but how the hell would you make this song more unique than it is? some songs you cant change man

  • @Scoff94- Yeah you can, play it acoustically, play it slower, play it faster, play it up or down the octave, play it with a slightly different pattern. Play it with different instruments, at the very least those two twats in the video should NOT SING LIKE KURT. That's where the problem lies, they don't have a unique voice...at all....because they spend all of their time imitating Kurt Cobain. They should just use their own voice, and I'm telling you, that is NOT their natural voice.

  • @piemakesmelol Ive been to a seether concert, Shaun sings any other song like that. lol you must not know seether very well

  • @Scoff94- You don't seem to get my point, I'm trying to tell you that Shaun copies Kurt's voice...ALL THE TIME. This is only made ever more poignant by this cover, but if you listen to a Seether song he tries to sound like Kurt, there is no originality in his voice, only a poor imitation of Kurt Cobain. Shaun will never ever ever touch the genius and uniqueness of Kurt's voice, Seether are a wannabe COPY CAT band.

  • @piemakesmelol So true :D

  • wes scantlin sounds better i think... i might be mistaken cause he looks like kurt and sounds more like kurt, and plays the guitar low like kurt.

  • this video fuckin sucks

  • fucking epic!"

  • Wooo, good cover, but I prefer Wes Scantlin's voice.

  • hell yeah!!!!!!!!!! Keep it alive!!!!!!!!!!

  • are they aahhmmm nirvana fan? haha nice

  • Kurt Cobain would be rolling in his grave if he wasn't cremated.

  • Seether = Sounds like studio Kurt

    POM = Live Kurt

    :P

  • Seether + Puddle of Mudd = Nirvana!

  • Comment removed

  • grunge aint dead. i still listening to Nirvana, AIC, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam. it will never be dead to me. kudos to the new post grunge bands tho: seether, puddle, etc

  • Love both bands but I think Puddle of Mudd does Nirvana songs better. Both awesome.

  • Oh I would love to hear the rest of this! I love playing this on guitar too bad I have neighbors

  • Grate! Both Grate and Sound Like Kurt

  • @din0070 I suddenly want a cheese quesadilla.

  • Two bands with Nirvana as one of their biggest influences. Great to see them together.

  • epic....!

  • That was epic

  • Ridiculos

  • we have two verions of kurt the red one and the blonde:))

  • Wes sounds alot more like Cobain than Shaun. Period.

  • @HiFiKiller84 look up seethers covers of you know your right rape me heart shaped box and something in the way. then tell me your answer

  • @Bodomterror696969 i have heard these covers and i still think Wes sounds better. I know Shaun Morgan gets off on trying to be Kurt Cobain but Puddle of Mudd does the better cover.

  • @HiFiKiller84 your crazy i think shauns better singer

  • Seeing this live was waaay better.. I was there for this one!! OMGoodness..

  • poople really need to stop getting so pissed when pom and seether cover songs from nirvana if they enjoy let them be they are very good at it and they sound excatly like nirvana and if you people dont like it fuck off

  • too bad seether never wrote a decent song in their life

  • @boogiechillen123 truth is a good one... it has a good sound mixture of nirvana and korn.

  • that was cool

  • this must be a funny dream, but now a wanna weak up please

  • Seether and POM are 2 awesome bands. and Shaun pretty much grew up on Nirvana

  • Shaun looks like he needs to be playing a guitar, he looks lost on stage without one

  • my only complaint about this is, it ended

  • Two wannabes in one place?

  • cool. shawn looks like he didn't have his morning cigarette though haha

  • tht is so fukin bad ass seether and pom. i seen pom in gi nebraska pretty fuckin sweet

  • seether rules south africa

  • Shaun is wearing a Zeppelin shirt(:

  • Seether rocks dude it's that dick from

    Puddle that sucked it up.

    For starters. Nirvana used

    FENDER BITCH!!!!!

Gibson and fender have entirely different tones. Anyone using a GIBSON

    Can fuck themselves.

  • So Krist using a GIBSON ripper and thunderbird with kurt playing a fender didnt work out when nirvana were alive??

+ Wes from Puddle is probably the best Guitar/Vocalist around who can replicate Kurts so you can stick your comment mate.

  • @dreamwolf19 Actually Kurt Cobain used a Eastwood, Epiphone, and Fender. I personally perfer Fender, however, I would play a Gibson anyday, they are great guitars.

  • aaahhh lucky you =)

  • i wanna kill who stopped the video

  • They are having alot of fun. That's how music should be. I love it.

  • seethers is a great band

  • this is cool. nothing wrong with a good fun cover. they seem to be having fun. hate all you want but your the ones watching it and not doing it,

  • cobain would hate this

  • @lostandwounded and how would u know? what are you fucking magically in-tune with his spirit or something? im a big nirvana fan but that pisses me off. granted, if i were him, i wouldn't like this. puddle of mudd is pretty good but seether... really? seether sucks ass.

  • @lostandwounded Thats like saying The Vaselines would hate Nirvana covering Jesus Don't Want Me For A Sunbeam dude, come on seriously?

  • @lostandwounded cobain wouldnt hate this video he wouldnt care if fans sang hes songs

  • its like they are having a competition, to see who sounds more like kurt haha.

  • @crazy4baseball47 i say Wes lol, Shaun has the raspyness, but his voice is too heavy metal

  • @crazy4baseball47 i think shaun morgan sounds more like kurt cobain =D

  • @crazy4baseball47 Like a wannabe contest?

  • i dont really like POM or seether but this is a good cover. They did a good job here and they look like they're having a blast at the same time which is what its all about

  • 2 homo.

  • Wow, the legend of Nirvana lives on.

  • the best songs this guys will ever play are nirvana-, pearl jam-, alice in chains- or soundgarden-cover.

  • i like seether not really pom but this is a all right cover not great but all right

  • This just goes to show that as much as you may be talented, some NIRVANA songs just can't be covered.More over, it shows how Kurt was and is irreplaceable. No disrespect to these guys at all, just pointing out the obvious.

  • :'(

  • Love the fact that both these bands are carrying on Nirvana's legacy. They both sound so much like Curt, it makes me very happy to hear them giving these amazing songs life again.

  • I'm sure Kurt would be pleased with either of these guys covering them. If it weren't for covers we never would have had "Oh Me", one of my favorite remakes of all time...

  • Right. If kurt were alive, I'm sure he'd hate these types of bands covering his songs. He was very particular about his musical tastes and about the types of fans he wanted to produce music for. This is just a joke. It's nice that they're having fun and keeping the legacy alive (more than Courtney will ever do) but they've built their careers off of trying to be like other rockers (i.e. Kurt, since he was the last rock star). Dislike. Not changing my mind on this.

  • @TunnelVisionFck kurt himself played a number of covers, too many to count. you don't have to change your mind, but did you know him personally? anyway whatever i'm not gunna try and change your opinion, i find you sad. just putting that out there.

  • Ur fuking retarded, they aren't wanabes their covering a song from a band they lik

Seether #1 and love POM too

  • hahahaha hell yeah , the legacy of nirvana still lives and will never die

  • puddle of mudd is better than seether

  • @RatedRCodebreaker that's an opinion

  • They're not posers. For those of you that can't back up your shit, seether is just as old as nirvana. Puddle of Mudd is just a couple of years younger. So fuck off. Both of these bands were my favorite band at some point in my life. But, as I was saying, they're just keeping it alive. If nickelback covered a nirvana song (which i doubt the ever will) people woudn't bash on them. Because Nickelback is mainstream. its that simplw.

  • THIS SOUNDS AWESOME!

  • they are like lisening to nirvana all over again

  • why the fuck do people get pissed when pom and seether cover nirvana songs? There trying to keep grunge alive and all people do is bitch

  • @17foofan Because people these days suck and they play Guitar Hero.

  • @17foofan couldnt have said it better muhself

  • @17foofan Agreed. I had the pleasure of seeing POM cover Breed and Seether cover Man In the Box in the same festival week.

  • @WisconsinParkour that would be osm i miss the 90s

  • @17foofan I know right?! Shaun is the closest fucking thing to Kurt Cobain today. He sounds soooo much like him and Kurt at one point had red hair! Seether needs to record a Nirvana tribute album with guest musicians (including Krist and Dave) holy shit that would be awesome. All people do is bitch cause nothing comes close to the original and while that may be true, this is the closest it is even going to fucking get. Remember Nirvana and respect Seether and POM for keeping them alive.

  • @greenadrenaline6405 They aren't keeping it alive they're beating a dead horse. These guys suck because they aren't original and unpredictable like any early 90s grunge or alternative artist. If you can't smell the prepackaged corporate "aggression" you never will. It's a difference between paying tribute and ripping off. Who intentionally tries to be a carbon copy? Thats boring and any real art and music lover will see through it every time.

  • @greenadrenaline6405 there's one little problem with that: these 2 bands are LAME AS SHIT, while nirvana wasn't
