Let's get things straight here.
1. These junkers have no pulse -- they do not live
2. These relics have no lungs - they do not breathe
3. Correct - I have no appreciation for any of it.
4. History belongs between the pages of a history book.
This junk missed it's date with the scrap yard 65 years ago. It is expensive to maintain, shelter, operate, repair and insure. It's expenses exceed it's revenue production.
Time to scrap it! Junk it! Cut it up & send it off to be melted in a furnace!

Why thank you again! It is very pleasing & satisfying to know you agree that steam locomotives are relics of a time long gone, are a waste time, resources, materials & money.
I am delighted to have you join the campaign JUNK THE STEAM LOCOMOTIVES!
You are welcome to my scrap yard where we enjoy cutting up these old junkers.

I don't care what you like or hate! But I am delighted you appreciate my effort to get them junked & cut apart.
I am delighted you work on these junkers! Get it shined up & in good repair for delivery to the scrap yard!
Then we can give it the final coup de gras, cutting the axles & delivering it in pieces to the foundry for melt material. They sure make very fine manhole covers, anchor chain & iron pipe!

I am delighted you are flattered! You deserve it.
You agree these machines are no longer worthy of preservation, should be picked apart by people who need cash quickly by removing parts & selling them for what they can get.
It is absolutely wondrous to know you too want all the remaining steam locomotives junked, scrapped, cut apart and melted.
I especially agree with you that steam locomotives make terrific materials for overseas containers.

Thank you for the invitation. However, I must respectfully decline for there is nothing but junk iron there. I would not assist, donate, support or campaign to save any steam locomotive. What are they saved for? It makes no sense! The are documented & photographed. The rest is just a very high expense. They will never be returned to mainline revenue service.
There time has come & gone.
Time to junk them, scrap them out, cut them apart & melt them down.
At least I have successfully stopped a city council from giving city tax dollars to such a preservation group. There were other every day needs which serve the public more than the preservation of something which would never operate or roll again. It was a liability & hazard to remain.
We scrapped it 10 months later. The non-profit had to declare bankruptcy & sold us the asset to dissolve all debts.
Steam locomotives are awesome, wonderful and beautiful. Cockroach knows this. He's just too much of a damn newb to admit it.

Why would they go that fast through a station, plus the loud whistle?

This things are ready for the junk yard.
They should be junked and cut apart into pieces small enough fit into the crucible of a blast furnance.
Melt them down and use the materials to make new transportation products.
Good bye, steam locomotives, forever!

Die in a fire, will you? You truly have no appreciation for living, breathing history!

Very well. I will view & comment on the scrap yard readiness of steam locomotives & their wasteful presence.
Let's face the facts. The are materials for junking, scrapping, cutting apart & melting.

Taxpayers love me for I stopped the city commissioners from giving away taxpayer dollars to preserve junk iron that would not ever be run again.
