i have tested many AVs too myself and can honestly tell you avira has the highest detection rating of all of them but avira also has false positives also if you asked me what id recomend tahst low on false positives and very effective id tell u kaspersky or eset nod32 u cant go wrong with none best AVs

If it doesnt say client service in the description it is probably a piece of malware and should take this seriously as it could be like svch0st.exe you might wanna bust out the install disc and get ready for a complete reinstall if u have alot of work and cant do that try using malwarebytes :3 if it dont work tell me

You can't compaire Avast to Avira. Avast doesn't even have a heuristics engine.

me too. It said memory is infected and then I lost everything on computer after reformatting and it wasn't even v dangerous virus. no more avast for me

I reviewed Rising on more than one occasion and it completely sucked (on both prevention and detection/removal). I don't want to waste everyone's time.

I like Avira but on my HP laptop it said some file that is from my HP laptop was a virus . I think FP are just as bad as a virus cause if someone would remove that file and your pc won't run well that is just as bad as when a virus kills your pc. For that reason I don't use Avira.

I use Eset or Norton....Though my favo is Eset. Light and good prevention and little to no FP.

Matt my freand told me about rising antivirus. He sad that he is great. Maybe you should do a review of it. Keep working good.

Matt, You should review Spyware Terminator, It has clam antivirus and a HIPS Shield.

Yep, glad I have Spyware Terminator. It found a virus than even McAfee didn't pick up. But McAfee protects you from P2P viruses.

Kaspersky Internet Security Updates more than Antivir so Kaspersky has a better Detection.

nice review but still needs improvement.i suggest you run a scan in safe mode with MBAM after each prevention test because sometime when you try out a malicious link and the antivirus didn't catch anything and there are no malicious process, you might have a infected registry key or file.
