Good, now I know Albert half barres that section right before the solo. God, the idiot cameraman that run half of videos for this song always focus on Julian during that part.
The only reason I actually paid attention to that segment is that the Guitar Pro section for that part of the song is off.
while i agree that they are both great guitarists, i feel that i must mention that casablancas writes the guitar parts for most of the songs. even nick said in an interview that once he began playing with julian he, "really started to understand music"
I would have to be directed to some source which confirms that statement. I find that highly unlikely. I have read that Valensi sites Casablancas a a major influence,but this doesn't mean that he can't write a guitar part without Julian.
I've gotten better at it lately though. And yeah he is! So is Albert! Honestly, in my opinion, I think Albert is better though. Not in skill, they're about even there (maybe Nick is a little better). But I just like his style more.
The camera men don't edit it you idiot, theres probably a camera filming every member through the entire performance. the Editors are the ones who do it wrong.
