  • This is very very impressive as of the many variation this instructor demonstates! I have learned something alittle from watching this! Thank you for posting!

  • You have a very beautiful pair of sai and you're very good with them. I would just like to ask as to where you got them. I've been looking for shops selling the sai weapon here in the philippines but I can't seem to find any. Hope you can tell me where to find them cos I really want to learn how to use them. Thanks a heap!

  • This is impressive, I wish I knew how to execute these kind of movements.

  • Wow... i love the video... Where did u learn it ????

  • Actually, nobody taught it. We just incorporated all our weaponry styles and developed it on any weapon our hands can handle. But the basic of the movements were taken from baston (arnis) and tonfa techniques.

  • oops, actually the song is from Braveheart. I just checked

  • This is very cool! I like it a lot. This adds some spice to my regular practice routine. The second piano song is from the Last of the Mohicans i think.

  • what are the tunes called. they are so relaxing

  • Is this a Phillipine style? Looks very much like the Okinawan style I have started learning, with a couple slight differences.

  • Yes, it is. I never got any training from outside our province. The sai movements of laresa only compliments the movements that are involved in the empty-handed system. The sai movements are a mixture of baston(arnis), tabak-toyok(nunchaku) and tuifa(tonfa) movements
