Most folks don't know this, but the role of EFFIE WHITE was written for NELL CARTER!! She couldn't do it because she had just signed to do "Give Me A Break".....You give me that feel of what she would have sounded like doing this role...VERY ENTERTAINING...thank you for your gift!!
