You did a great job shooting this video. It's a good perspective of the band, and there's a lot of symbolism with the corp and the location. A former mayor of San Antonio was a former member of the band. The current governor is a former member of the corp. If you split the band in half, that would represent the number of defenders at the Alamo. If you multiply the band by 8 (or any number you choose), that would represent the Mex army.
I was a drummer in the Aggie Band at that time. Although it was a long parade I felt good to be there and be apart of it. Best damn 4 years of my life!
Just puts a chill downt your spine watching the Q's march 12 across down the boulevard. There's one jerkweed on here that made a video about the event.. comparing A&M to Santa Anna and USMA were the Alamo defenders... hardly. They were the invaders. And I doubt Jose Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna got a reception like this one!!
I graduated from Texas A&M more than 18 years ago. I STILL get goosebumps when I see and hear the Aggie Band! Still a proud card carrying Aggie!

What an awesome display of pride and tradition. What I wouldn't give to be a A&M alumni. Clearly the best in the nation!!!
