The year...was 1989:

I was a 15yr old sophomore in High School.

I had just rented METROID and was cleaning house before my dad got home so I could have uninterrupted play.

As I swept the room, I let my Nintendo play the Metroid intro in the background. The sun hit the television so brightly just as I finished cleaning. All was good...

..BUT THEN..

I heard the VERY VERY last part of this title screen for the VERY FIRST TIME in my life. I stopped sweeping And almost cried at it's beauty.

@Genscocougar Well, they've got to be some of the best, because of the way VGM has to bring certain emotions to the player. Like this, it feels ominous...and all of a sudden it shows the true epicness of Metroid, while still retaining a very "WOW" feel. That's what Metroid's music shows me.
