I always love hearing another person play this song, it's my favorite to play. but in my humble opinion, there was not enough consistency in the tempo and too much sticcato. otherwise good.
i think your amazing! i love the way you play with emotion, i get so annoyed when people are to embaresed to express themselves! Thanks for the great insperation!!! =)
your fingers tread very lightly on the keys, its exquisite in some parts. but that also means its lacking where you need more strength like at the end chords. besides a few very minor mistakes i like the overall performance (your light touch is honestly something i have rarely, if ever, seen, keep that up). good tempo you chose as well. great!
You can swing this one a bit, too, like you did on the 2nd prelude.
Have you looked into any of Gershwin's "Virtuoso Preludes?" They're based on some of his show tunes and are quite a bit longer and more involved. Might be a rewarding challenge for you.
I love this song! This one is my favorite George Gershwin song. It was very well-played, but just try to make the accented notes louder, and use pedal. It sounds weird at first, like you really shouldn't be using it. But, just try to be confident in the pedal. If it becomes too loud and blurry, clean the pedal. Overall, a very good performance. Bravo!
I dig the recording, controlled, well thoughtout, good technique, the only turns offs were second interlude of interlocking chords, in which I thought you hogged a bit too much time on the final arpeggio, both times. And I found the staccato portion following to be a good bit rushed.
Well done!

I think you did a fantastic job! Gershwin is hard to play! How long did it take you to learn this piece?

For a film I'm making for school I'm looking
for videos of people who are playing
Chopin - Nocturne in B flat minor, op.9 n°1.
I already found some on YouTube but I'm looking
for some more vids. If you are interested,
please leave a videoresponse to my only video on my account.

great. I needed a good piece of music to listen to for an example of this prelude. Hopefully I can pull it off.

Pure talent man. I'm not too familiar with the Gershwin works, but this recording sounds great. Props!
