  • i love the shifter made my day... good job dude!!!

  • @megatronr13 You should see the new slap-shifter that's on there now!

  • my redneck solution for the seat would be duct tape

  • wats size pulley is in the rear ??

  • @fetters18 I think it is about 6" in this video, soon after this I changed it back to a 10" because it was too fast with the big tires. This thing is meant to be a really slow crawler.

  • does that have 4x4

  • @chsujjna No, I WISH!

  • how did u lift the back

  • @gokartlawnmower watch some of the first vids, it's all in there somewhere!

  • hey i was just wondering when your mudding,,, how do u keep the water off the belts? ive messed up 5belts by getting them wet and somehow having them stretch to crap

  • @mmrsmotocrossracer I don't keep them from getting wet. Just make sure there is alot of tension and use a lower gear if the belt starts slipping. I imagine it slipping and heating up it what causing it to slip. My belts come from NAPA and there about $30. Never had any problems with them.

  • what model is this?

  • @laxlife59 I think it's an 88 LT 10

  • hey how did you lock the diff? in the trans

  • when you open it up and see where the axles meet, inside the large ring gear, I welded the two spider gears that float(not the ones on the axles) and welded them to that little "rod" thng that they sit on.... I guess it's time to do a video on it... lol

  • id put a 30s tractor seat on it

  • thats so sick!

  • i no how u can do that with the front axel if u take it off and cut it in half and trim it up and weld some springs onto the frame and axle there u go its a work in progress

  • im definatley lifting my mower now

  • What do you plan on doing on your front end.

  • Not 100% sure, but the goal is to have the front axle be able to piviot almost 90* from full compression to full droop. We'll see how realistic that is. I've got some of it planned out, the rest I'll take it as it comes I guess.

  • Are you going to put a skid plate over the pullys so rocks don't hit there

  • do you mean the bottom underside of the tractor? Like in front of the existing skid plate?I think so, I've even got the piece to do it. It would just make pulley acess a little harder.

  • yea thats what i mean

  • awesome!!

  • Looking good man.Not quite what I thought it would look like but it's gonna be cool.I figured you were gonna go for something more like what I did.

  • I don't want to make anything too complicated. I hope the front end goes a little smoother

  • Yeah, i'd rather build then clean.... lol

  • Lookin' good, Coming along nicely, Excellent job of using what 'cha got,(Love the chrome shifter) I'll have to third the motion about the fenders, Even using a cut up plastic bucket (drum) works rather well, Flexible and Cheap, and I'll bet you've got something layin' around {;-)

  • Ill make something work... This project is far from being done. I also took a ride on this thing right after this, but that wouldn't all fit in one vid.... damn 10 minute limit!

  • Ohh, there was never any doubt on you get'n'er done and makin' it work, Just thought I would sneek you in an idea. Can't wait to see this Bad Boy do what it was built to do !!!

  • Thatsthe shiznit! Awsome! I agree with CSAKvids- looks too weird w/o the rear fenders- id hack em and weld them up a bit higher for clearance- even some small trailer 1/2 round fenders would work- plus would keep mud n stuff off y ( least for a lil bit).

    5 stars!

  • Thanks, and yeah, I think you guys are right about the fenders. It shouldn't see too much mud, atleast not the deep stuff.

But your right it does look a little weird.

  • Have you widened that? Looks wider! Still think you ought to put the rear sheet metal on.

That looks like an AYP deck pulley. YOu know you know too much abotu tractors when you can name the type of machine a pulley came from!

Its coming on though. If only there was some kind of 'all terrain lawn tractor' forum you could post the progress on somewhere ;) oh wait! I know one!

  • Still the stock width. I think I need taller tires. I'm gonna toy around with the stock fender sheet metal and see if I can make it look good.

  • lol Tranny go Boom!! nice vid love the tractor i like the rear end

  • thats awesome! I am still trying to find parts

  • great job! are you going to put a gas pedal on her?

  • I dont know yet... We'll see how she does without. Right now I want to get the mechanical stuff done.
