I go to gun shows a lot prob 20 times a year and all of the people that have to do back ground checks do them. IF you are a private individual you do not have to check a persons background to sell him a firearm it's his or hers private property and NO ONE can tell them who to sell it to and there is nothing wrong with that. most criminals that buy guns for criminal deeds do not get them at gun shows they get them on the street

So any, ANY purchase made there is preceded by a NICS background criminal check. Not in my state because I need a police issued permit to buy a pistol, where my background check is done, to but a pistol from a dealer or a privates citizen. But I can go to one of 24 states that don't require a permit or background check to buy a pistol from a private citizen. Hence there is a loophole

But since it is a federal offense to make a face to face purchase with a private owner ACROSS the state line, there is no loop hole.
