  • This guy is either absorbing the bullets and ignoring the knife, or he's got a healing factor that's so good it restores him to full health the nano-second he gets injured to the piont where the bullets are hardly a threat at all, even if they stay lodged in his body!

  • @leaderstragg

You make very convincing points! Either way, I'd love to have THIS superpower; it'd make it so much easier to fight crime!

  • @marknew91 True, but I have a theory as to why superheroes age so well, (Powers or no) for all the stress they have to deal with, theyalso get lots of exitment that keeps their minds stimulated and gives them lots of physical activity, and for relaxation they just spend quality time with their fellow crimefighters for a vacation now and again, in other words? Even in real life Daredevil could fight better than you and me put together LONG after he's in his 60's!

  • Wat show is this

  • @marvelHFfan30 I THINK it's "Supernatural"!

  • @marvelHFfan30

Leaderstragg is correct, Marvel Fan. And it's on the Superpower Examples page because it's such a good demonstration of that ability. Cheers!

  • @marknew91 Yes, take for example the Thing from the Fantastic Four, he's WAY stronger than Deadpool physically, but doesn't regenerate as well, then again, that could be just because his armor is too complex to allow him to do that in the same way, according to Reed Richards the Thing's body is caused by physical AND psycological conditioning, so if he ever decided to cut lose Ben Grimm could be up there with the Hulk!

  • @leaderstragg

I had never heard that! But I will say this: Wade probably needs regeneration a LOT more than Ben Grimm ever would. If bullets hit Deadpool, they'd penetrate, and he'd need to heal. If they hit the everlovin' Thing, they'd just bounce off, so no need to heal.

  • @marknew91 True, but it depends on how hard he's hit, although I personally think the Ben Grimm as the Thing CAN heal, he just doesn't do it as well as the Hulk, who is durable AND capable of regenerating from injury even if someone manages to hurt him badly enough to break his skin, muscles AND bones, however the Thing has survived being BRUTALLY hit by the Hulk MANY times over so he's no slouch.

  • @marknew91 I would like to apologize for that earlier comment, I'm too much of a Ben Grimm fanboy so I think I'm too biased! For all his agility and reflexes even the mighty Deadpool can't survive being shot to death, so you're right, he DOES need his regenerative power more, and even though Hulk, who has both a tough hide and healing abilities doesn't have the same armor plating that the Thing does, and even so, he has to get really angry before it will start to get that effective.

  • @leaderstragg

Leader, you don't need to apoligize; either point from either of us are perfectly valid positions. Besides what we might learn from our heroes, supereheroes are supposed to be about fun! I'm glad to read your opinion, I just don't always have time to respond. Don't worry, ok my friend?

  • @marknew91 wait! I just though of ANOTHER way to defend against bullets besides being too solid for them, healing up from the injuries they can cause, absorbing them, reflecting them, or just being able to stay alive no matter how many of them manage to penatrate your skin, bone, and muscles. TELEPATHY! If you can infiltrate someone's mind and give them a hypnotic suggestion making them think they just shot you when they DIDN'T, you can get the better of some who has a gun pointed at you.
