Ive met the guy, and seen him play live a few times, and hes even better than he sounds here, having seen many of the top sarangi players live in concert, i would argue that he's certainly the best in this generation and probably even the best sarangi player alive in Pakistan.he does need our support though, as he relies mainly on performing in musical programs and sarangi isn't in vogue anymore, so please invite musicians like this to your functions. cus you gotta have class and taste in music

His grandfather ustad Hussain Bakhash was most outstanding Sarangi player.After partition the family settled in Lahore.Zohaib has improved a lot since his performance of Megh. He is a special gifted Sarangi player and very soon, will be one of the best.
he will be an outstanding player,if he goes 2 india to learn from an ustad,bcoz sarangi has gone out from pakistan.hear dishad khan,ot allarakha kalawant u get the picture.
if u hear allarakha kalawant,or even sabri grandson,dilshad khan, playing u will notice a diffrence in the playing,outstanding players mean tone of the hand,raagdaari,tyaree which he does has but can become even more better if he goes 2india.u got 2 listen to these sarangi player that i just written down.
