@igorbolsheviks88 uhmmm..that's not nice cause you're like telling that we don't have any knowledge in advance weapons...well you're wrong, sorry..It's not what you think that we're still like natives here..
@igorbolsheviks88 well, still wrong, it's because our inventors or those people in our country sell it to other countries because they knew they would get more money if they sell it there...well that's all...
@harukohayashi you don't have inventors, all your claims about invention are flawed. like the claim that you invented the flourescent lamp and the hydrogen fueled car. philippinese people are known for claiming what is not rightfully their's.
@igorbolsheviks88 that's what you think...I'm not saying we invented those flourescent lamp and the hydrogen fueled car, research before you say those things bro...like what I said, it's because our inventors would get a lot more money if they sell those inventions to other countries than in our country..peace ^^v
what invention did you sell? as far as the scientific community is concerned philippinese have not invented anything except for poverty and population explosion.
@igorbolsheviks88 actually a lot of fma applies to the use of guns from a defensive point of view and what about other martial arts that are so primitive that they use *gasp* their hands as weapons. they must be soooo educated
there are many drills in FMA and in particular, there are many knife drills. this one is showing how to ward off an attack with the lead hand and then using the knife which is in your opposite hand.
try this: when the knife comes, use your OPPOSITE hand to block and keep your PALM UP. keeping the palm up as you block downard keeps the knife from crossing over your hand for a secondary strike. if you practice this enough, you can actually feel where the guy is moving.
Don't want to complain but isn't this quite stupid?
I mean, irl you can't grab a wrist which holds a knife coming at a high speed. No one stabs that slow, irl it goes fast and there's no way in hell anyone (unless you're an andoid or something) can pinpoint the wrist. So my question is, what is the purpose of this training?
Isn't attacking better if someone has a knife? I would attack and i'm sure anyone else would do the same!
Still could've added a counter along with the attack and defense during knife drills. This one seems way too linear to be of filipino style influence in my taste
Good stuff bro...

philippinese still use knives as their weapon of choice since they don't know how to make guns.
