That movie was watchable racist crap.I bailed on this movie as soon as I recognized that Eddie Murphy being a shape ship was merely a contrivance to make a romantic involvement between him and the white female lead (the Parker Posey looking chick) impossible (à la Handcock.) The is utterly typical of American movies.

I remember when Murphy did "Best Defense", arguably one of the worst movies ever made. (Sadly, also had Dudley Moore as co-star.) After it was pretty much destroyed by critics and the general public alike, Eddie goes on Saturday Night Live, and jokes about how he knew the movie sucked, but he just couldn't refuse the money. So arrogant to joke about how he ripped off OUR money, (the people who paid to see this because he was in it.) I'll never pay money to see his movies again.
