Hello, and thank you busymum. I acted rashly, when this got blocked. I had the options to swap the audio or permanently mute it. I chose mute, and it IS permanent. After the mess got sorted out, I tried uploading a copy with sound, but I don't like the picture quality, so I can't say that's permanent, but it IS available. Just click on the video that the silent version is in response to.
Sorry to write a book here. Thanks for your interest. ~Suz

Wow I loved this, 5 stars!! First of all, talking with your hands fascinates me; it is both beautiful and useful. Surly we can teach this as a universal language? But they way this was done was kind of retro looking, like an old film, if you see what I mean. Definitely quirky, which as you know I love. "he isn't good sign" :-P This must have taken you ages...
Emily, You said "he isn't good sign". Who? The woman from the ASL browser? First off, she is a SHE. Second, the MSU ASL browser is a respected resource. Her signs are right on.
If you don't like the structure being SEE rather than ASL, I explained about that in the video description.
Watch the guy who did a video response for actual ASL.
HAHA! Hilarious! I would recognize her ORANGE shirt anywhere - I said, "That's the chick from the ASL Browser site!" But now I see what you've done. ... Interesting.. !
Um, yup, I know where you cut these signs from. But the signing wouldn't be correct. It's not ASL, it would be considered SEE, or Signed Exact English. In ASL, you try to convey a sign. For example, for "down in the glen". You would just sign GLEN and then indicate that you were under it.
I love this! I hope you can get the sound working again. I was going to show this to a friend.
