One thing this video failed to mention, was how on Dec 5. The red army launched it's first major counter offensive along a 600 mile front, giving the germans it's first defeat. Troops were brought from siberia, they were very tough, also many had fought the japanese in 1939 so they were combat ready. The fact that the russians were able to move most of their factories away from the front, meant that the war was lost for germany, the first year in russia cost the wehrmacht 800,000 casualties.
The only missing point is the slavic natural resistance to moisture, cold, and freezing, viruses and bacteria due to their primitive animal nature. Even their products are rough, barely functioning and primitive, and not as delicate as the sophisticated German trucks, guns and tanks. When the barbaric winter came, not even slavic barbars themselves were necessary to force master race to move the frontline back 200km temporarily.
This almost feels like watching "Die Deutsche Wochenschau".
This war would have ended alot diferently if Hitler had listened to his Generals. They tried to stop him from invading Russia so soon and making the same mistakes that Napolean made. Hitler refused to listen, and what you see in this film, is the result!

The Germans may not have had the resources available for the spring push to Stalingrad and instead the Lines would have stalemated by Jan-Feb of 42 instead of August of 43' after Kursk. Historically Germanys next re-supplied offensive was in spring of 42' by that time the Russians would have pushed them to Smolensk or Minsk. The huge counter tank battle would be there not Kursk
An expert told me that it would've taken every truck in Germany to reach Moscow, that Germany didn't have the logistical reach. They made very good use of their materials, though, and that's why they lasted as long as they did.
