As an academic advisor at my own school, my advice to you is as follows:

Contact the professor of the course as soon as you can. Tell them your situation and hopefully they will accept you in the class. Most the time, people drop courses and spaces open up. Also, priority is often granted to those who absolutely need the class - so, that being said, there may be individuals who the professor may want to dissuade from joining, given the apparent high demand for the course.

I'm all for the Eco shit too! I dont know one person who hasnt gone through the same situation you have. By the time you finish school you prolyl will end up moving into the field you want too.. school is only %50 of the door opening so its just a matter of getting into the industry and working your way over to want you want to do SON!!

Sorry to hear that you're having school complications. But in the nicest manner, you've got to pull it together. I'm in the same boat, but I'm way behind in credits due to financial complications and having to move from state to state. I understand your frustration, solve one problem get ten more. It's fine to have a slight breakdown, and be scared(I know there is something that scares you about your situation), but you can't let that control you. You've got a charming smile, show it.
