Instead you can scream, which will make it it sound more emotional (only if you can do it well, and not like the 15 year old emo-bands do). Besides that, screaming makes it sound heavier too :D And if you would actually try to look up some metal-lyrics, you would see that they have alot of more messages than just killing and blood.
