@gammaworld niether, this show was late after noon rotation on saturdays and sundays so its target demographic was anyone who read comic books. keep in mind that that specific demographic croses practically every boundary, even back in the 80's

Uhhh, I'm not chemistry expert, but doesn't a simple implosion of hydrogen gas and oxygen gas create water? I've heard of using gold-plated anodes to separate the hydrogen and oxygen in water, but not to recombine them. All it would take is a spark of electricity. This show was written by someone who was either scientifically illiterate or extremely uncreative.

This show was always on my mind, I remember as a little kid that I watched this show and loved it. But it only aired for a short while, I finally remember today the title and I am happy that I finally found my resolve in watching this show

That's because episode one was a pilot. often they film a pilot and it takes a while for the show to get the green light sometimes a year or more.
