just bought the clef du vin wine key... definitely agree that it places the wine in somewhat of an 'awkward' state, but overall i think it delivers on what it promises. it does say it only works with wines that age so i think the white zin experiment is irrelevant. as a sommelier in a restaurant, it's definitely fun to play with it with guests. i give it 4 out of 5
