The only proposed extension is the deadline for applying for benefits for those who will be jobless in the weeks and months to come! Families with children will be without homes facing life on the streets unless a third extension is added to this bill! This is disgraceful!

with the amount of debt we are in, all his stimulus package will do, is add to an already very dire problem...he's gonna make things much worse in the long run..he'll fix our problems for the time being, everyone will love him for it, and praise him for it. but, it'll eventually catch up to us, and in the future we'll really be in for it...under NO circumstances should we be adding one more cent to our debt.

I am an optimist though and I believe that even if *everything* goes wrong things will still be better than they have ever been before. And of the people we had to choose from I *think* that Obama was our best bet. But if we would have had Gore in 2000 we would probably not be in so many messes right now. But the past is the past. As for relying on the president I agree to an extent. He *is* the head cheer leader though.

Don't be fooled! There will a national catastrophe even if this stimulus bill is passed as is. There is no third tier unemployment benefit proposal for the nearly 2 million who will lose their unemployment benefits in April. The only proposed extension is the deadline for applying for benefits for those who will be jobless in the weeks and months to come! Families with children will be without homes facing life on the streets unless a third extension is added to this bill! This is disgraceful!
