Such a beautiful moment of the movie when he finally sees the planes he's always admired during his childhood, approaches it slowly with sparks on his background making sort of stars and adding magic to the scene. Then he touches the plane's nose, still with sparks behind him and he looks so small compared to it and he tries to feel it, feel this big iron body he has always been fond of.

Then Japanese pilots come and observe this curious prisoner and the way he's analysing planes with passion and they immediatly understand what he feels because as pilots, they must have the same kind of feelings. And in a brief moment of respect between the Allies and the Axe, they simply salute. The music on it is just perfect, switching at the end on Chopin's Mazurka piece.

I'll never be tired of watching this scene and listening to this music because it only shows how childish passion can temporarily erase all kind of hate, erase the cruel reality and make a simple moment magic.
