  • Hitler's poodle and Eva Braun's dashund escaped to the West in the closing stages of WWII. They were then smuggled by the Vatican's 'rat lines' along with many other SS pets to Argentina. This was a fascinating close to the war. Many German pets were innocently caught up in de-nazification trials after the war. I personally spoke to one carnary who was kept in a coal mine where stolen Reich treasures were kept...

  • the funniest part of this show is usually these fake SBS ads XD . . . I love how they make fun of the weird european movies that SBS show lol

  • Another great thing about 'Tyrants & Their Pets' is Micallef taking the piss out of his own network, SBS.

    SBS love Nazi docos! So much, they once showed this ridiculous doco on 'As It Happened' about Hitler's scientists drawing up plans for a war plane that could fly from Berlin to New York or Washington & bomb the Yanks when they weren't expecting it...

    Hilarious waste of time! It never happened, of course. Yet, SBS will keep looking for some kind of Nazi angle on anything...

  • Fuck this show funny!

  • Cooooooool!! thanks for posting the episode bits, keep up the good work!! :-)

  • Ignore the first ad but don't browse away its alright but it's no Hitler's Poodle!

    Hitler's Poodle is amazingly funny I wasn't watching the screen when this was on last night, I turned around in amazement when I heard it, not sure if it was Micallef or real? Funniest moment in a so far 8/10 show.

    If you have a short attention span listen closely to the tenuous link made at the end that somehow 'haunts his dreams'!

    A++
