Hi Cindy. Thank you so much for making your video. My Mom was diagnosed this past September with Stage III C. Although it's been 4 months since her diagnosis, it still doesn't feel real. After several rounds of chemo, surgery, and more chemo, her CA-125 results are currently much better than before. I just wanted to personally thank you for what you have done here with your video because faces of hope and strength is what we all need right now. God Bless you and many prayers.

Hi Cindy!thank you for your feedback. Yes! One step at a time. How can I send a private message? I am a lil clueless. I have so many questions to ask. Why not find them from a person who has survived it twice!!!! Thank you so much!!!
Thank you so much! Yes, one step at a time. I don't know how to do private massaging :(. So many questions. I'm sure you have answeres to questions that we don't know that we should ask. The worst thing, my sister only told 1 sibiling about her cancer. I'm not supposed to know, yet. How can I help? I feel I can only pray and research. I don't know where to start!
Thank you so much for opening your story to us. My sister was just diagnosed with ovarian cancer. We are looking for info. It is good to know we can find info through your story. Please continue and keep updated. We don't know what stage she is, we found out last night. We are over whelmed. :(
@amparova I'm so glad that you were able to find my video. That is exactly why I posted my story. When I got diagnosed, I had a tough time finding any other real people I could relate to. My advice is simple: one step at a time. Don't get too far ahead of yourselves. Deal with one thing at a time. Simplify your life. Cancer has a way of helping people do that. Feel free to private message me if you want. Best of luck and blessings!
My mothers mother died with ovarian cancer. My mother died from ovarian cancer. My older (70) sister now has ovarian cancer. How do the Ca-125 numbers corispond with different stages?
@otisbird I don't know that CA-125 is used in that way. Staging is done using tissue samples of known cancer. CA-125 by itself in a patient with cancer can be used as a tool to compare one's own results, not to compare to someone elses numbers. Has anyone been tested for BRCA1 or 2? I hope you are being watched carefully. Obviously you are at high risk.
Hi Cindy, I just watched your video, and I appreciate you putting your story out there!! You are a very brave woman, I wish you all the best in your recovery, may your cancer leave, and never come back!! I think it is very important that women are aware of this dreadful desease..
The angels & God are surely watching over you and I hope they keep doing so!
Hi Cindy! I too am a "victim" of the ovarian cancer beast. I had experienced weight gain in my abdominal region even though I wash't eating much & Walking my butt off! I had surgery by a gynecological oncologist & 6 cycles of Cisplatin & Taxol via IV & IP. I was cancer free for 2 months when I had a recurrence. I will begin Cytaxon & Avastin in a few days. This diagnosis has hit me harder than the original. I wish you every good thing! I pray for a cure soon!!
@iamatumor YES! You are a tumor! Howdare you write such a cruel comment to this beautiful young lady! It makes me so angry and sad knowing there are people like you in this world. Think before you write such low cowardly comments.

@Jimmy86405 Jimmy, I am so sorry the beast won this one. Sounds like you are a believer. If that is the case, than you know she will be waiting in peace in His loving arms. You are the brave one - living life with the loss of your Mom must be a terrible pain, but you know, life here is temporary, and you will see her again!
Hi Cindy, I was diagnosed at 32 with OVCA 15 years ago. (stage 3 clear cell carcinoma) I also did a Taxol, Platinol series after a radical hystorectomy.
I am so sorry for your recurrence. Thank you for this! Hope you are doing well.

Hi Cindy, I've just been diagnosed with stage 2 endometrial cancer and I know what you mean by there not being alot of stories from people with this disease on YouTube. It surprises me too. I was seriously thinking of starting to post my story for others, in the hope that it might help them during their treatment. As you or anybody would know, the "C" word, no matter where you have it, is terrifying. So anything you can find that is positive is helpful.
@Sereena111 Hi, I definitely think you should tell your story. I had no idea how many people (thousands) would watch, comment and get something out of it. I got a lot out of it as well. It has been therapeutic to go back and see how far I have come and how much has changed in my life and in the lives of others. The stories are real so there are some very dissapointing news from time to time but it is also inspiring. I hope that you do make some videos. Let me know if you do.

hey, I found your video while watching the other youtube video titles "A World Without Cancer", it is believed in some circles that cancer is actually a vitamin B17 deficiency...I am NOT saying stop your treatments, in fact I would like to encourage you too continue your treatments...but you might also want to check in too vitamin B17...take a look at "A World Without Cancer" video and then google "Cancer the forbidden Cures tpuc"...I mean it can't hurt right?...:) get well soon ^_^ :)
Cindy I am 22 years old and I am a stage 1 ovarian cancer survivor. I was diagnosed when I was 21. I have been chemo (and cancer) free for about 3 months. I had a REALLY hard time with chemo my body did not respond well to it at all. Hearing that you got cancer again brought tears to my eyes I am so sorry for you. I live everyday in fear that I am going to have to get rushed to the hospital again and have to hear bad news. I will pray for you. Thanks so much for sharing your story. God bless you
@Mherediadlt So glad to hear you are on the bend. It is unlikely that you will have a recurrence as you were Stage 1. Do you know if you are BRCA 1 positive? I was very angry when I got diagnosed again simply because they siad I was "cured". It would be better for them to have said you are in remission and will likely staythat way for the rest of your life. Hoping you are still going ok. I am with you but several years earlier on the road you have travelled ie diagnosed 3C in 2009. I'm 18, and I had my ultrasound a few days ago- I got a call from my doctor saying that she scheduled me to come in this Monday (6/20/11) to talk about what do do next, but not saying anything about the actual result of the test. Your videos make me a little less worried. Whether or not something turns out to be wrong, the scare has made me realize it's a very real threat. If it means anything, though, I'm really glad you're alive, and thanks for making these~♡

Hi Cindy, I was diagnosed with stage 3C Ovarian Cancer 9 months ago at the age of 33. I have met some wonderful people on FaceBook who are members of a group called "Women with ovarian and fallopian tube cancer". I too received Taxol and Carboplatin and now we going to be starting another 6 rounds using Doxil and I am trying to find a study that uses Avastin as my Doctor feels it is necissary at this point. Thank you for posting this! Hope you are well.
My dear, haf u heard of product called transfer factor tri and plus by 4Life Research which can increase our natural killer cells to fight the cancer cells. I hav no cancer but I am consuming it as a prevention but I do know some success stories. I also haf a close fren whom has success story after taking these. He suffered from prostate cancer but no longer has it now.
@anm30 thak you so much. I am realy coming aong well. Getting back in shape and back to work ina different capacity but loving it! I hope you are well too.
Hi Cindy, My name is Michelle and I was diagnosed with uterine and ovarian cancer in January. I have had trouble finding things on Youtube too and am thankful for your post. You can see more of my story here on YouTube too....jus click on my name.
((((((((Cindy))))))))) You are amazing. I am going to watch your other videos but I had to say I am praying for you. I am a 5 yr. triple negative Breast cancer survivor and I am absolutely terrified that it's back somewhere else. I had very aggressive chemo and radiation that has damaged my all my heart valves and I feel like my heart would explode if..and when I am told "it's back". I live in absolute paralyzing fear 24/7.
ok-on to your follow up videos. God Bless ya, Cindy :)
I totally understand that fear that it will come back. Igt is just something that people like us have to cope with. The longer I have gone without a rcurrence, the less I think about it but those thouhts never go away comepletely.
Thank you so much for starting this video blog. I buried my mom the day before Thanksgiving, after watching her fight with all she had a 44 month battle with ovarian cancer. I logged on today looking for what you're providing.. real stories of this ugly disease. My best to you and I'll be watching for updates.
You just broke my heart. I am so sorry. I can't imagine the pain of the loss of your Mom. I am sure you gave her the best of yourself and comforted her until the very end. I usually hate to hear these stories but the statistics tell us that most of us don't make it. Those are the videos that don't get made. Thank you for letting me know you got something out of my story. May you be comforted by the wonderful memories you and your Mom shared. Blessings.

Blessings.
