I just don't know where or how I can get all the physical pieces like the wood and the metallic pieces. and dont let me start about using actual art and lights in the cabin and creating/hacking a controller.
Is it common, that everyone has a FUCKING HUGE Control Panel? O.o
Your cab is really great, but I hate it when everybody uses a huge CP for 4 players, spinners and balls. thats TOO much. But as I already said, nice work you did.
the holes for the buttons are the easiest thing in the world. go to homedepot or lowe's and buy a wood boring bit 1/4". it does a very clean job. then the button lip covers any rough parts. before you put the button in cover the hole thing with the vinyl i talked about in the video. it looks authentic. enjoy
WOW... I love this build. What front end/PC are you running? My biggest challenge is the keyboard interface/boring holes for the buttons and joystick. I just want the feel to be crisp and original just like the old days. Do you find this build very sturdy and realistic?
Nice job, I'm about to start refurbishing a cabinet myself, then building my next one, your video was very inspirational. Check out my channel for progress, thanks!
@IHDesigns Yes you can get marqueee and coin doors if you want, they have em on order marquees are like 30 bucks and coin slots are like 45 so 75 to make it epic looking
dude great job, but your control panel was pretty big for only 4 buttons per player. You could have made that a 4P panel. Also how do you play those fighting games with only 4 buttons???

you buy the art online. there are places that sell the marquees. the wood etc. you buy at your hardware store.

Nice build...but i prefer using wood instead of mdf...mdf tends to open and split when moisture and high humidity is present
mrcokez1 1 year ago
@mrcokez1 true. the only issue is that wood has that coarse look to it. you have to cover it up with something other than vinyl. maybe laminate?

well i bought the jigsaw, but i dont know what it has to do with a sander......
i bought a 99 piece jigsaw btw, is that enough? a 1000 piece would take more than a weekend to complete along with building an arcade machine
btw do i solve the jigsaw in the beer breaks? or while building the cabinet?
