@copilottheband It sounds very different from the Son of Screamer, though, which is exactly that. Sounds like he has some other tweaks going on as well... Any idea what?
Just received my E6 from ProGuitarShop today. AMAZING. In fact, it just replaced my tonebone classic in my rack.
The E6 is all TONE and even at higher gain settings, the clarity of each string/note was just unbelievable, tight lows and well rounded high. Still can't get the smile off my face.
And thanks to PGS for hooking me up. Took time to explain in detail over the phone, and shipping came well packaged. Def. will shop again.
Just ordered an E6 from these guys last week, can't wait to get them. I was considering the new "fuse" version of this pedal but both the maker and the gentleman at ProGuitarShop mentioned that the E6 offers more drive which is what I'm looking for.
This along with my order of the Timmy pedal due in a few months~ CAN'T WAIT~!!
By the way, very professional service, took time and explained everything in detail.
hey theres nothing wrong with a bad monkey i know plenty of guys that have been useing those in there live rigs for years. cheap box but has a really good tone to it.
What kinds of pickups you would recommend for Strat to preserve vintage tone but without hum and without any compression (which occurs with some noiseless pickups) ?
I know i cant be the only one who watches every single one of these demos, even if the pedal doesnt fit my style of playing or isnt even meant for my instrument. I <3 Andy
I certainly wouldn't say no to a higher gain version of the well known Eternity, but if that would mean losing its transparency and small, slight grit capabilities, I would choose something else. I know I certainly can't have it all in a pedal, but it's worth trying...
always with me always with you, perfect song choice to demo the pedals characteristics. I have yet to purchase a lovepedal overdrive but this looks like the one i might buy.
Some great, old Satch in the beginning. I remember when I was younger and devouring that cassette.

Other than this what would be some good overdrive pedals?

Unfortunately they never have models for long - only the Kanji 9 and Kanji Eternity on the PGS site, which are both sold out.....

Is the eternity based on the TS? Trying to avoid the mid hump.

@ilivehere sure is! it's a tube screamer without input or output buffers.

sounds great, but I think it sounds very honky as well, and that is not always super.
It almost sounds hollow in some way.
