  • News: "EATING MEAT HAS NOW BEEN LINKED TO ANAL-CANCER"

Previous studies have already shown that meat & wiener eating has been linked to ANAL CANCER. However, it has now been affirmed by the American Cancer Society

You can confirm it for yourself by putting "MEAT ANAL CANCER FACTS" into GOOGLE, then look for the statement from CANCER ORG, titled "Cancer Facts for Gay or Bisexual Men" stating "Who is at risk? [Those] eating a lot of red meat". -Direct quote from the American Cancer Society

  • This guy needs some work on his presentation skills.

  • You are saying what I have been telling people for quite a while now. We should be budgeting our health care and not expect insurance to pay for all of our medical bills.

  • Barak's Health Care Reform, Will it improve America's voters. . . ? American opinions matter!! See my youtube channel page and discover how.

  • Not everyone can afford $29.99 for a bag of "100% natural" pistachios at Whole Foods.

  • OMG .. I am watching this and I cannot believe this dude would actually consider going public with this nonesense. There is a lot of valid stuff in what he says, but he can't talk about. He gets lost in his own logic, or lack thereof, and none of his shit makes sense. WTF .. prepare a little. Around 7:00, the whole thing of inflated prices and doctors getting less - I wonder if he can work that whole thing out himself.

  • I have listened to this guy twice trying to follow his rationale, but there is none. Can't believe he even goes public with his stupidity. He just gives a bad name to the people that actually oppose the new health care program based on some logic and not pure babbling nonsense.

  • I wish we had more facts

  • You are the government .The system is badly broken because lobbyists for special interests were the only ones involved in shaping government policy. Government is required by the Constitution and law to act on behalf of the common good. Example: The Employment Act's purpose was to lay the responsibility of economic stability onto the federal government. Corporations are only required to act on behalf of their shareholders and not the greater good.

  • He left out people that borne with health problems

How should they be taken care of with insurance and regular Dr. visits.

  • You have stereotyped your enemy well, the poor is just lazy.

? If someone rolled a ball in front of you. you would see the ball rolling, but would you know that they're many forces at work here?

  • I love you guys. This guys great! :)

Medicare or call it what ever you want....

Can we call it a Ponzi scheme?

  • But Medical Coding and Billing is a multi Billion Industry.

Those companies are world renowned and notorious leaders when it comes to milking

    the cow. (tax payers)

  • Are Artificial Sweeteners a Healthy Choice?

I have a lump between my breast. on the breast bone.i dunno what it is. but it is movable and hurts when i touch it.but otherwise i dont know it is there.what could it be?

I have a large painful lump on the right side of my left shoulder blade i have had this lump for a while but now it is causing pain what would you think this could be?

Were Artificial Sweeteners design for people who suffer from Diabetes?

  • I would get those lumps checked out. They might be cancerous. This YouTube channel phychetruth has videos on artificial sweeteners. From what I can tell even though artificial sweeteners are not sugar they have their own set of problems of which include cancer. I hope everything goes well for you I am sorry to hear about you situation.

  • A healthy choice would be stevia, though it doesn't work for everything.

  • I ask this question because It was a Dentist who invented Gumdrops.

This applies to the products and services we use and buy everyday.

Pledge is a prime example. The product is designed to collect dust.

I give that designer a two thumbs up. (lol)

Here is another example I experienced by a designer.

  • Here is a designer that I am having trouble of letting go. It was well orchestrated and written in the early 50's.

    1955 Good Housewifes Guide.

  • Capital gains Tax in Canada was or is @ 52% (Socialist)

Private Health Care is now up in Canada.

    Go figure.

  • Don't be shy...Say It: Health Care was artificially inflated by insurance companies.

    (milking the cow)

Flip the page and you'll find Thelma and Louise demanding that tax payers pay for their back rubs.

    (ho ho cakes)

It's a Toxic Disease and Utterly Repulsive!!!

  • ABC, NBC/GE/MSNBC, CNN, and Fox News are all huge multi-national corporations. Corporations are run from the top down. I've studied and followed business matters for years and I've never heard a CEO sincerely say that wanted taxes raised or more regulation. That makes them antagonistic toward Democrats who are the only ones responsible enough to tax and regulate them fairly. Although, Ronald Reagan did raise taxes and capital gains tax when Reagan left office is more than President Obama propose

  • Fun fact for all. I am Scottish. We have the NHS.

    It works.... very well.

And everybody gets treated, regardless of wage packet. Oh and we haven't turned commie!!! What a massive shocker. What is it with America's apparent fear of all things communist. I know it seems to be widespread but how many people out of those yelling 'Communism!' at every opportunity could even fully define it...

I dunno, personally I couldn't bear to do medicine in america. Money and life cannot be compared.

  • Yes but being that our system is profit driven causes us to innovate. Most of your medical technology was developed here, and then sold to your hospitals. Also our technology is more advanced that even other western nations. I worked at a hotel in Portland, Oregon, where every day i met Canadians who came to the U.S. to get treated, despite the fact that they had free health care.

  • Most of the wealth accumulation in the stock market doesn't go toward innovation, it's made on the movement of stock that already exists. It's the bidding up and down of existing assets. Information is not symmetrical in the markets. The very wealthy and the large institutional investors know where their money is going before the general public.

  • The wealth accumulated in the stock market has absolutely nothing to do with my comment.

  • Last I checked the point of medical centres such as hospitals was to treat people. Not to innovate. And I wouldn't be so certain of that if I was you, while some improvement will come about there's no 'demand' for big improvements because then people don't pay as much because the big improvement means they're not getting sick.

Example: Scinetists working in America have recently proved that stopping the aging process is possible...why don't more people know about this?

    Health before money.

  • Wow! If the rest of the world thought like that we would still be blood letting, practicing lobotomies, and curing insanity by preventing people from maturbating.

    health before money?

It takes money for R&D for scientists to be able to proove anything. Your example prooves my point, not yours.

  • What an idiot. The people at Whole Foods look healthier? At Whole Paycheck? Yeah, that's because they are wealthier and better educated, in general. Obviously food affects health, but good nutrition is not going to repair a congenital heart defect. It's not going to help reconstruct a blown out knee. This is a weird & unhelpful argument.

  • What typical leftist doublespeak, blaming everything on wealth and education, like you need a PHD in nuclear physics and millions of dollars to know that you should eat your veggies. You actually have the nerve to call other people an idiot?

  • Eating your veggies, as you say, isn't nearly enough. It's also a matter of the type and amount and avoiding all the carcinogens in our environment. Almost all these carcinogens come from industry.

  • Avoiding all the carcinogens in the environment is impossible, and your right that most carcinogens come from industry, but that has nothing to do with my comment. While eating your veggies isn't enough, it's more than most Americans do.

  • It's hard for me not to think of Libertarians as insane. These people readily admit that the chemicals and processed junk is bad for us, but all of that is brought to them by corporate America and not the government. This anti-government garbage is cultivated by big business because they want to regulated even less than they are now. You have to be in the Twilight Zone not to see that. The corporate media almost never has scientists on and they spend little time bashing corporations.

  • It's your own responsibility and choice to eat healthy or not. If you want government to take care of your diet and health, then what happens is that it will use means like banning and taxing to make sure everybody eats well. But even if you eat healthy most of the time, you still want to eat a donut now and then, or at least have the freedom to have that choice and not being forced. That's what libertarism is all about.

  • Also corporations LOVE regulations. They lobby for them all the time because it eliminates the competition. Why is Walmart lobbying for higher minimum wage laws? So small businesses (who are incidentally more inclined to sell healthy stuff) can't afford their workers anymore and go bankrupt. Why do the pharmacy companies LOVE the FDA? Because it raises the threshold for new drug companies enormously so the big pharma get a lot less competition. Result? High medicine prices = high healthcare cost

  • That's right, the government is bad when it panders to big business. But the source of the evil is big business. Where in the Constitution does it say corporations are people and that they should control our society?

  • The "corporate media" as you called is nothing but left wing brainwashing, with the exception of Fox, which is right wing brainwashing. Libertarians are the only ones who aren't living in the twilight zone. You leftists actually believed Barry Sotero was "change" Moron. Yeah he changed alot, he brought the troops home from Iraq, created new jobs, closed Guantanamo and united us all in a giant post racial orgy.

  • eat healthy and exerise so you dont get sick , bust still u gonna need a health insurance! incase you have a cancer , HIV, and you get into accidents! and of course you gonna need insurance to give births ! ANyway eat health! eat organice! stay away from fast foods ! preservetives!,...

  • If you want to see government run socialized medicine, just take a trip to your local VA medical center. You wait one hour to get triaged and have your blood pressure and pulse checked, one hour to see a screening doctor, so they can determine which primary care doctor you should see, and then one hour waiting to see a primary care doctor, who is really just an intern from your local university. They give you some antibiotics, and set up an appointment with a specialist 3 months later.

  • Would that be the system that gets higher user satisfaction ratings than private insurance co?

  • Did you just make that up? Find me one vet that will say the VA is better than their insurance. I have free health care at the VA for life, and I pay for insurance just so I don't have to go there.

  • Libertarians liberate the government from responsiblity

  • So now the government is responsible for people's personal responsibilities?

  • That is not what I meant jerk. Libertarians liberate the government of its responsiblities.

  • No, I know exactly what you meant, so then what is the government responsible for? Or maybe a shorter list for you might be what the government isn't responsible for. Thanks for demonstrating the mentality of the New Englanders who continually unleashed Ted Kennedy on us for 50 years, and now continue the legacy with Barney Frank. Libertarians liberate the people from government intrusion into their lives, communists like yourself, want the government to be responsible for our lives.

  • That "big government" thinking did not work for Reagan. Barney Frank is not responsilbe for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. I read the voting records of the house you Ron Paul sheep. Ask yourself why people in countries that have single payer healthcare are not rebelling against it. Why aren't they screaming big government. Because "Big government" talk is full of shit.

  • Barney Frank isn't responsible for Fannie and Freddie, but how much did they donate to his and Obama's campaign? Reagan fixed what your libtard president Carter broke. Name some countries that you feel the people are happy with their system, and I'll dismantle every one. You people in the New England states are almost as bad as the people in Oregon. You live an isolated, sheltered fantasy world, where you don't have to deal with the messes your liberal stupidity creates.

  • Government involvement has worked in every other country with univ health care... your Idea that LESS RESTRICTION would work...Pure stupidity! The American people are being robbed by the doctors and ins companies... you are promoting less effective insurance!

  • well i guess you dont mind having the government pick a doctor for you. i sure hope you dont get a doctor that doesnt care wether you live or die.

  • Private insurance does the same thing... If you go to a doctor and that doctor is not on your insurance plans list of approved doctors, they wont pay for services. BY THE WAY... since Medicare and Medicaid are both government run insurances... do they have doctors that "don't care if you live or die?"

  • Dude...less of the doctor's are robbing people stuff, try working as a doctor and see how horrible it is. Then say silly things about us ;D

  • Stop calling SIngle payer socialized medicine.

  • SINGLE PAYER NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • If the auto insurance industry faced the same policies and standards as health insurance, the wiper blades you would be happy to pay for would cost $1500 because you have to subsidize the people that needed wiper blades, but didn't have insurance, but local health organizations mandated that they get the wiper blades.

  • Another reason cost is going up? Medicare and Medicaid pays less and less, so that hospitals/doctors have to raise rates on the insured in order to cover fixed costs.

  • When you say "Whole Foods vs. Wal-Mart", there may be an ECONOMIC COMPONENT to what you see.

I think the health debate is unfocussed. There are two issues here: (1) Americans are unhealthy, and this is a population health issue. (2) There are problems with insurance now (not everyone is covered, portability, etc.). These are very DIFFERENT ISSUES.

  • I know someone as well as myself who can't work full-time due to a physical disorder. He has Ataxia which is a genetic form and I have rods in my back.

  • We need SINGLE PAYER HEALTH CARE (HR 676).

  • It's time that every human adult takes responsibility for him or herself especially in regards to their health.. You are what you eat.. We all have a responsibility to our children and to take care of their health too... Insurance is another way of giving your own power away to greedy corporations and government officials who don't care for our health.. This is only my opinion, I don't agree with insurance.. I am my own insurance...

  • Every one overlooks the fact that the insurance industry is so heavily regulated by the government that they really aren't free market enterprises. Why is the fact that government interference is one of the primary reasons why our system works as poorly as it does almost completely overlooked?

  • how about someone who for example has back problems because of the type of work he does? eating right doesnt really help in that case nor is it a out of the ordinary incident. So comparing it to car insurance is just oversimplfying it. Gettin tired of these analogies .

  • Yeah, just because you eat right doesnt mean it wont keep you from getting sick of cure all of the many thousands of ailments of diseases that people have out there. Our entire economy would have to change in order for us not to have to rely on insurance companies. For a poor or low income person to be able to afford any health care they need, a ton of things would have to change. I think insurance, in its many forms, try to fill in the gaps where our economy has failed.

  • That's why I don't have a family, I live alone and I can afford all organic food.

  • 5 stars Great vid

    1) Heathy food is too expensive for poor people? A mosty raw unproccessed food diet. You save a bundle on energy costs, and don't buy a load of processed "cheap" packaged junk food.

    2) Government run healthcare systems rely on a lot a voluntery and charity systems and never have enough resources, with large waiting lists.

    3) Any healthcare system that is a success should have a declining customer base.

  • 1.Maybe organic food is more expensive, but you would be much better off eating non organic vegetables rather than eating in mc donalds every day,

2.Health care systems run on taxes, here in denmark we pay 50 % of our salaries in taxes.

    3. totally agree

  • Healthy food is free. People can grow it in their own backyard. And if they can't feed their family they should consider that the size of their family is beyond their own means.

  • gardening isn't really free..Its great and wonderful but not free

  • asalade, I get your point, and I remember my mom used to grow some vegetables in the garden, but that's not a realisitic solution, most people don't have a backyard and we cannot grow everything, we cannot have a cow to milk every morning

  • Dairy, meat and eggs give you cancer, heart attacks and strokes. Vegan diets are the only healthy way live a long healthy disease free life.

  • so everyone who lives past 100 is vegan?

  • Obviously not but it increases your chances significantly. Don't take my word for it, search: Foods that kill healthy eating [Google videos].

  • the only famous vegetarian that I can think of who lived passed 90 was Rudolph Hess. If you'd like to use him as an example be my guest.

  • Some other famous vegetarians: Austria-Hungary: Nikola Tesla China: Confucius France: Brigitte Bardot, Voltaire Germany: Albert Einstein Greece: Plato, Pythagoras of Samos India: M.K.Gandhi Ireland: George Bernard Shaw Italy: Leonardo Da Vinci Russia: Leo Tolstoy United Kingdom: George Harrison, Sir Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr United States: Steve Jobs, (Vegan) Bob Barker
  • You said that being a vegan greatly increases your chances of being a centurion, at which point I stated the only vegetarian, not even vegan, that I could think of who lived past 90 was Rudolph Hess, and you make a list of people who were vegetarian, of which George Bernard Shaw is the only one who lived past 90. There is no proof at all that being a vegan is healthier than following a balanced diet. It would be great if you'd stop spamming your ignorant propaganda.

  • You disparaged vegetarians/vegans with Rudolph Hess. In response I listed admirable vegetarians. The China Study (2005) examines the relationship between the consumption of animal products and illnesses such as cancers of the breast, prostate, and large bowel, diabetes, coronary heart disease, obesity, autoimmune disease, osteoporosis, degenerative brain disease, and macular degeneration. The 20 year study is free and searcheable on Google books. Your rejection of an idea does not make it spam.

  • "educational entertainment purposes only"

  • Come on, 1984?! What does increasing competition in the insurance market have to do with rationing? That's a very distorted view. In fact, the US has its 1984 already: Health insurance companies deny coverage because of pre-existing conditions. This is really rationing and dictating people's lives, not the fact that a self-financing insurance might be run by government with a mandatory so that young people don't avoid paying for insurance who also do end up in emergency rooms often enough.

  • The distorted view is that more government would somehow increase competition. Rationing is a logic consequence of government run healthcare because it otherwise becomes unaffordable. Government is inefficient and monopolistic by nature.

  • except the entire civilized world has government health care with longer life spans and less costs than the USA , but please do go on telling everyone your crystal ball predictions

  • Health is not something that should be insured. Health should be a right, like education.

  • And oh so very Yeps...good way to put it dude.

  • Yeps

  • There is no real competition in dozens of states (5 health plans or less dominating the market, some states dominated by one health insurance with 90% + x market share). The insurance companies hold monopols, not the government. So what happens if you have a monopol? The corporations increase the premiums on freelancers and small businesses because those can't fight Big Insurance

Wherever there are monopolies, it is the government's job to dissolve those and help create a real free market again.

  • yes, this should not go through

  • Joseph Strickland is 100% wrong about health insurance. About 70% of doctors are for a public option. Insurance companies dump their most costly customers on the government and you can add in the subsidies they get from the government. The dental industry is working like Joseph Strickland mentioned except costs have risen through the roof. Many people pay directly or out of pocket to dentists. Why are costs and outcomes better in countries with government run health care?

  • They don't. In countries with government run healthcare the costs keep increasing and it's compensated by either more taxes or less health service/quality. Eventually these countries will either need a comprehensive taxing system in combination wilth rigorous consumption laws, like smoking bans, basically bans on anything that causes more medical costs (at the expense of their freedoms) or they will need to get rid of the system and let free market take over again (not gonna happen)

  • Health care costs rise in European countries because of the population getting older and the fact that Europe loses jobs to developping countries. The US spends more than 15% of its GDP for health care - which is unheard of. Only East Timor has health costs that high. Regardless of that fact, 47 million Americans remain uninsured and several million people are denied coverage because of pre-existing conditions every year. Yes, Europe also has spending problems, but the US is far behind the EU.

  • I disagree. The US is far beyond the EU with spending problems.

And as you heard this guy say, he chooses to be uninsured and explains why: insurance is a risk plan, not a let-others-pay-all-my-costs plan. Of course costs go up when everyone wants insurance companies to pay every medical bill they will ever receive.

  • People's bodies are exposed to all kinds of chemicals and pollutants in the air, food, water and drugs we use. It puts an enormous strain on our bodies ability to eliminate them. It's all tied to greed and corporatism. It's worse than murder in my book, because it's done coldly, slowly, and callously

  • Unfortunately, privatized health care does not work. private health insurance is in the business of making money by denying you care and payments to the doctors. We have created a health care middlemen that takes from both the patients and doctors. Makes no sense.

  • 1. Single payer. Eliminate insurance.

    2. Food regulations, assure better nutrition.

    3. Cost controls. Fixed prices for routine things. $5 for all medications, xray, mri, lab work $30 to set a broken arm $300 to deliver a baby

Then most people will be able to afford it.

FYI - The auto insurance metaphor is not good. You don't need auto insurance if you walk or take a bus.

  • Lol!!

  • it's a cultural thing. look at how ingrained products like Coca Cola and McDonalds are. they work in tandem and define "cool", or at least regular and the norm.

contrast that with the scooby channel here that advocates working out and intake consisting of steamed vegetables and lean protein. you are what you eat, and what you do.

  • Well put. When I was a freshmen in high school I was sent on a foreign language class trip to Italy. There is no age limit on drinking alcohol because people are taught when they are young how to drink responsibly. Thus they have lower incidents related to alcohol.

  • Health Care System/Health Insurance in america is all Privately Owned , that why america will never have an NHS system ,like commonwealth countries

  • All the hospitals are privately owned in Canada, and the Doctor's are private business as well in Canada, yet we still have gov't insurance. I go to the doctor, and the doctor bills the government, and the government pays him and the hospital. Also each province is responsible for it's own health care systems. They have to meet certain criteria to get federal funding assistance. I can chose my own doctor and any treatment that I need. Whatever the doctor says is what happens. No one saying...

  • saying that the procedure is not covered.

  • Try a little research before you speak. 60% of health insurance companies in America are subsidized by the government.

  • I wish a truly free market would work, I really do...

But the simple FACT is It does not, It never has and It never will.

At Least Canadas Medical Care Fucking Works.

    WAKE THE FUCK UP.

  • Very well said.

  • Real healthcare reform should start with telling the truth about the chemical processed food and dead tap water an how its making people sick. When people talk about change with healthcare reform don't on and on about the cost of insurance because your being diverted away from what's really causing these expensive problems. Educate yourself on having a good healthy lifestyle physically and mentally.

  • I agree with the wal-mart thing.. It's sad but it's about the only place in my community to purchase food.

  • Great POV. What I wanna know is, does he really need the white zipper shirt thing for these videos?

  • Well the Ron Paul folks would have no government regulation on any aspect of healthcare. If that were the case then they would also be amenable to allowing the corporations to continue serving us high fructose corn syrup, and O157:H7 E-coli hamburgers, To take it one step further they would do away with the CDC, and the NIH and every government sponsored hospital; which would be all of them. Sounds like throwing the baby with the bathwater. There has to be a middle ground. The public option.

  • are you forced to consume HFCS or e-coli burgers? don't consume junk food, problem solved. "but what about all the poor people who HAVE to consume HFCS and e-coli burgers?" there is always an alternative, that's the beauty of the capitalist free market system, someone fails and someone takes their place if there is demand. It's like a tree falling in a forest...new seeds grow where there is now new light.

  • I'm sorry I must have lost my mind. Of course! I agree with you 100%. With over 300 million people in this country why should I care about people that die from greedy corporations like Conagra. (read today's NYTimes). That's why I shouldn't care about breast cancer or children dying of poverty. We need to kill more people so we don't have to wait in line. Imagine how wonderful the world would be with less people in the world. Maybe lose five billion would work; right?

  • You can care all you want, but don't force other people to care as much as you or even more. Don't ask government to do your dirty job. Don't outsource your violence to the government and think it will solve more problems than it creates. If you want to help, do it yourself or donate to a voluntary charity organization.

If you do ask for government, then don't pat yourself on the back for being a non-violent person and be outraged when police brutality occurs. You are as much guilty

  • I hate corporatism as much if not more than you - it is not free market capitalism. Find out what that actually is before you think I'd be in favour of genocide. Go and read some Austrian Economics. Economics in One Lesson by Henry Haslitt is a good place to start.

  • Ahh Social darwinism, at least that's what I am guessing you are saying, anyway, social darwinism one of the main values and beliefs of the facist ideology. That's what we need in this world, more facists. I mean it worked great for Hitler didn't it?

  • social darwinism? not at all. I would never use the scientific method on a human being to make a generalisation of them as a collective group. I don't judge people collectively but on an individual basis. Only a collectivist would discriminate against a jewish, black, white or pakistani person etc...judge people as individuals and racial/gender/ethnic/age boundries dissolve.

  • Great video. We don't have healthcare in this country. We have disease management, which is totally different. People mistakenly think that being healthy equals being not sick.

  • Great perspective. Thank you. ;)

  • 9:54 Get rid of all regulation, so then your auto-mechanic can be a surgeon too?

  • Corporations should be regulated to the point where it seems pointless. Real business shouldn't be regulated.

  • No they should be deregulated to the point they have no special privileges or government protection anymore. Deregulation, not more regulation. The whole idea of a corporation, being an entity apart from the people who work in it, is part of the regulation.

Deregulate, make people responsible themselves instead of letting them hide behind regulations.

  • you would use his services? ofcourse not, his business would fail immediately.

  • WHY!?!?!? Why would it fail? Because of the corporations. They have special rights over Real Business.

  • ok when ppl are poorer they usually cant afford to shop at whole foods and have to shop at walmart and if your poorer usually you are depressed so its basically a economic thing poorer ppl get the shitend of the stick. I get food stamps from my state and i have seen my healthfood store takes them BUT the organic foods are higher but in the end to me its worth it. I believe vitamins should be covered by insurance their better than most medications.Love yur vids speakin the truth.

  • The only reason why the insurance costs are inflating is because their investors are used to a steady rise in profits. Stop inflating the prices=less money for investors=less of a profitable business for people who SHOULD NOT BE RUNNING OUR FUCKING HEALTH CARE!!

  • First, having socialized healthcare does not make ANYONE communist. For the love of god, Communist is when the working men are compensated and there is no GOVERNMENT; meaning communism has never existed (Native Americans are the only close example)

Second, if insurance is only for "big" problems, why is it so hard for insurance companies to pay customers money when they have cancer? Sorry insurance companies are only in BUSINESS for money, why would they care about people they dont know?

  • Your hardware supplier is also all about money, and still hardware costs keep dropping endlessly. How can this be? The government isn't in it.

Now healthcare: would you say government isn't in it? If you do I cannot take you seriously anymore. If it is, then how much and how does it affect costs?

Will costs go up when government allows one medicine to the market but witholds another? Will costs go up when government requires licenses so one person can call himself doctor and the other not?

  • Son of Adam, You can't monopolize the production of a hammer like is done with prescription drugs. If you patent it, you claim the authority to charge whatever you want until the patent expires.

  • And patents aren't part of government involvement?

  • Ahh, Ahh,........Ahh........

  • Right now, You are LUCKY if your Insurance will cover a heart transplant...

Right now You are PAYING enough to cover Anything and Everything you need, Including multivits and penis enlargements for all, They would still be making BILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN PROFIT.

NO ONE IS TRYING TO CREATE MANDATORY HEALTH INSURANCE. It's called the public OPTION for a reason.

Getting rid of licenses is INSANE.

You Sir, Are FULL OF SHIT.

  • YES, Now go back to sleep

  • That's Not An Argument...

    Fucking Retard.

  • But you are mandated to have health insurance. That's dumb as Fuck!

  • You're Wrong.

    Dick Head.

  • In the Health Care bill. If it passes you will need to buy insurance.

  • Not sure if you need to buy health insurrance in the current version of the bill, but I do know that if a public option is passed, within a few years you WILL be mandated to buy insurrance, simply because the optional program will be unaffordable (big surprise) and the government will force everyone to pay. There is no doubt about it.

  • The president said so himself!

  • wallmart vs wholefood argument: confounding variable : socioeconomic status...i figure whole foods are more expensive so theres prolly a diff SES background for the shoppers...so whole other set of reasons why they are different there. Yours maybe one of them, mb not the whole story tho

for the rest : your saying the reason why the cost is getting higher is the doctors are inflating the cost ??? and thats the government's fault?

  • Not going to Wal-Mart will solve alot more problems than obesity. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Eat right and exercise, and you won't get sick, unless you work in a coal mine or replacing asbestos.

  • you, sir are a gentleman and a scholar

  • does that mean we get to not feel sorry for people that do get sick? Cause they ate their way to breast cancer or parkinson's?

  • Who said anything about feeling sorry or not feeling sorry? I'm merely pointing out that people need to take responsibility for their actions.

  • you kind of are indirectly. Your judgement about how they got there, which could be an inaccurate judgment.

  • All I said if you eat right and exercise you won't get sick.

    Who said anything about judging?

Are you retarded? Or just an asshole?

  • hmm, choices choices, I guess I'll choose none of the above. So, I'll be immortal if I eat spinach from whole foods?

  • Well you have a few neurons misfiring if you can deduce, "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure", into, "So, I'll be immortal if I eat spinach from whole foods?" You did a lot of e at Aphex Twins shows, huh?

  • people get sick. Regardless how they eat. Shit happens. Sure people can be to blame for their ill health due to bad habits, but many people just get sick or are born with genetic predispositions.

  • Some people do have genetic predispositions, but that doesn't excuse people who's diet consists of Dunkin Donuts for breakfast, McDonalds for lunch, and Taco Bell for dinner, and whom go home and drink a 40 and eat a bag of chips, while vegging out to Dancing with the Stars. Did you ever notice how some people eat? Some of my coworkers eat a Snickers bar chased with a snapple per break, and complain about how they are always sick and feel like shit.

  • Look no futher than the obesity rates in America and it's difficult to judge otherwise.

  • Arent YOU the witty one, hargix baby...
