This is an interesting yet strange movie. The kissing is the most tender and beautiful i've ever seen between two men. But the voice over just cracks me up everytime! And it's so unnessary. It makes the movie more disjointed then it already is. This should have been a very good movie. But somethings just not right. But i'll keep coming back to watch the great kissing all these men do! The best on film!
Brad seems to be reading lines. here. he was such a great actor. Did all of the drugs destroy him? or did he not feel anyting for Franco Nero. lets face it, Brad Davis wasnt str8, he was the coolest gay dude ever in movies, a million times better than montgomery clift
@hellonyhello That's the Fassbinder style. Especially in this film, everything is stylized. The permanent sunset throughout the whole film, and the theatrical dialogues. Very artsy.
@glassineheart fake. I mean they are not kissing for real they just have their mouths close. what mean oppose? I sayd that gil had to be younger according with th book also because jo says he likes him cause he saw a little himself but who will not grow because he is going to betray him (sorry 4 my english)
The voice over sounds like a cheesy 70's porn; overall, a great film.
